Brains and eyes don’t strike me as cuisine I’d like to try. I may have to stick to walmart for my food :p

I’m not sure if this is going to be a story that involves love or adventure, but this could be a good way to let the reader get a hint. Perhaps focusing on one of the charms with a little... ellipses... and a wink?

I feel like three years is a little quick to have vampires on the street become commonplace. The start does have a very nice "real world" feel to it (My sister does foster care for kids, so I like that)

This may come across as harsh, but I think a few rewrites of this paragraph could get a better balance of things. Maybe a little less rushed?

I have a blog, http://laenost.weebly.com/ where I publish short stories. I don’t know too many other writers, but if there’s anyone who would like to put their work up with mine I would be happy to feature them! And if you enjoy reading short stories, I have some great ones!

Jacob Zoller created a forum thread: The Reason to Write!
My reason to write is to give the world a glimpse into the fantastic and wonderful realities I belong to. I think all great (and most not great, for that matter) fantasy is divinely inspired. I can’t say if I created these worlds or if God simply let me be a part of them, but I do know that there’s only one way that anyone else will get a chance to experience them!

I write so that the world I see when I close my eyes could maybe, even for just a minute, be seen by others. So that the characters I have grown up together with can meet new people and make new friends- Characters that for now live only in my heart. How heartbreaking would it have been if Bilbo or Gandalf had been chained up inside the mind of the brilliant Tolkien? But because he gave them life on the page, they have now befriended millions. What if Harry Potter stayed in the cupboard his whole life?

Sheth, Fisk, Andel, Pakk- The characters I know so well (though not so well that they never surprise me!) they are all waiting in my heart to take flight and find friends across the world.

That is my reason to write. What is yours?
