Hey Darby. I can completely appreciate the empty praise of friends and family. Sometimes it feels like they "have to" give the "You’re doing great" line and that can be hard for someone who wants valid criticism. I’d be happy to look over what you have and leave some in-line comments for you.
That being said, I have my entire manuscript up and if I had to do it all over again, I’d probably post less so that I had something to reveal. As a way to generate some enthusiasm. I don’t think many people read whole manuscripts before they decide to purchase a book. It seems like most books have 1-4 chapters up and that’s enough for them to get hundreds of pre-orders.
