As far as nerves - remember that this is your story, and no one else is going to tell it the same way you are, and you putting it out there is important. You believe in your story, and so will other people.  :-)
(In more practical terms, I signal-boosted the heck out of mine on every social media platform I’m on! I think that did a lot, especially on tumblr and facebook.)
