The world is stark and austere, the characters within are compelling and strange, but through all of these elements there is beauty within the story itself. REAPERS: Book One creates a world in which the reader will happily find themselves immersed within. There is too much to contain inside this small review, but suffice it to say, this book is worth the read and order.

’REAPERS: Book One’ is a dark, literary fantasy epic that follows an elite black-ops team deployed to remote, untamed conflict zones.
Monsters are real. Sometimes in order to fight monsters you must become one. A true story from the game-world of Rust. This is more than a game.
Matthew describes his robotic characters with such vivid imagery and care that I can imagine them as flesh and blood people, a moment before they are casually deconstructed. It's an eerie feeling, and I imagine the rest of this book will play with those same themes. I'm liking it!

With compelling characters set against dire circumstances, Black Virus: Outbreak will catch the reader's attention and not let go. The circumstances which propel the plot are well thought out and I can see the beginning of the character arcs, which makes me want to read more. I have no doubt this will reach its funding goals.

In a style that flows naturally through innocence and darkness, M. Robert Randolph tells a story reminiscent of Bridge to Terabithia. Children living with torments inside their homes that no one on the outside sees, they seek escape to an imaginary island, where Michael, the narrator hopes to become a superhero. Mr. Randolph's posted chapters take us into Michael's future where we discover he is an awkward high schooler who fits in no better now than he did as a kid. Perhaps even worse.Challenges that might be mental illness or abuse are suggested in symbols represented by the real and fantastical trappings of Michael's past, present, and imagination.I'm intrigued. I hope you'll help bring [The Dark Mountain] to publication so we can see how it all turns out. It's a story that might well provide encouragement and courage to children and adolescents whose lives are not as sunny as children deserve their lives to be.
