Cyael strode down the dark corridor, his boot footfalls breaking the still silence. Magical torches sparking to life as he passed, their dim blue light shimmering across his armor. If any were around he would seem to be an apparition haunting the ancient halls. Cyael’s eyes fixed on the door at the end of the hall lost in the thoughts that had lead him here. He had come down this path before over the centuries, but rarely this late and never alone, yet did so tonight with grim determination. S. . .

    Hello my Knightmares!

Wow! We had a great week! As it stands right now, we have only 18 pre-orders remain to hit Quill publishing, with 39 days left in the campaign.

With time winding down, this is when I need everyone the most. You see, just hitting 250 is a remarkable achievement, but nobody wants to just make it across the finish-line. I’m looking to not only break 250, but to get as close to 300 as possible. So with that in mind, remember my referral program!

If you’ve already bought a copy of my book, get just 2 people to buy a copy and I’ll send you a free t-shirt!

So please, if you’re still on the fence, out there lurking and watching and waiting, please take that leap and grab a copy. Be a part of the adventure and enjoy the ride!

Completely hooked on this one and cannot wait to read more. Also, can't wait for the nightmares that are waiting for me when I sleep tonight... Definitely worth checking out!

      Dear friends and followers,

Who wants to be a character in a murder mystery game?

I am planning a third instalment in the Eric Peterkin mystery game series, and here’s the deal: for each copy of "Murder at the Veterans’ Club" you order between now and 04 August, I will place your name (or another name supplied by you, if you prefer) in a hat; on the day itself, I will draw three unique names from the hat and apply those names to characters in the game.

(Yes: if you place three orders, you get to put three names in the hat.)

I’m not really pushing very hard for sales this month, so your chances of getting picked out of the hat are probably really, really good.

James Rasile liked a review for Murder at the Veterans’ Club
An intriguing premise to an interesting world, Murder at the Vet already reads like a classical murder mystery. The reader is given just enough to engage with the story while the promise of what's to come dangles over them. Through a series of reveals the story progresses in such a way that the tension is built and relieved, only to be built again.

James Rasile sent an update for Cape’s Side Bay

            Hello Cape’s Side Bayers!

Here we go! Officially 2 weeks left in the campaign!

It’s been a long 5 months and somewhat bitter sweet that the end of pre-orders is fast approaching.

We have just under 50 orders to go, ideally I’d love to hit that before the 2 weeks are up (this way I can take a much needed nap sooner!), but, you guys have been unbelievably supportive and somehow become more so with each passing day. I cannot thank you enough for the recommendations, the reviews, the prologue recommendations, and of course the orders.

If you haven’t ordered a copy, and want to, you can click on this link here:  https://www.inkshares.com/books/cape-s-side-bay

            :)

Today, with 2 weeks left, I’ll share the water colour painting my friend did for Cape’s Side Bay back in March (it was later used by fellow Inkshares author Tabi Card in the cover art you see on the page).

Hope you enjoy it and the rest of your weekend!

            All the best,

            James
