A bit later than I usually post in the day but Chapter 11 is now up, and since it was shorter than I remembered I decided to just post it in its entirety. Also cycled the featured chapter again. Thanks to all who have followed, especially those of you who have also preordered.

Thanks for clearing that up. I admire your commitment to the causes you listed. I'm sorry some people flamed you, but I can understand how that happened -- there's just too much to read. It's not just your stuff, with half an hour of book AFTER an extensive "About" section, AND a blog, (beautiful maps, btw!), but the sum total of pitches, postings, and updates is damn near overwhelming.

People put up chapter after chapter as if they don't understand the concept of "excerpt" or they think their first submission isn't strong enough to merit pre-ordering. Sometimes they're right, but in that case, more really is less. And you know what I've noticed? Comments on those multiple chapter "excerpts" tend to peter out early in the second chapter. What does that say?

Right now I have 29 tabs open waiting for me to read and comment. Every day I receive pitches requesting reviews. You'd think with all the authors who apparently are aware of me, I'd be more visible. smh
