It’s Judy Blume meets Ready Player One. It’s an intimate coming-of-age story. It’s a tragic portrait of post-Vietnam PTSD. And it’s all happening during the outbreak of the global contagion that would come to be known as... Pac-Man Fever.
Thanks for taking an interest in this project. It’s developing into a pretty gripping story for me, and I really hope it can find an audience. The best part of it for me is feeling like I’m looking through a window into my own childhood as I research and authenticate elements of this story. I just posted an update with a revised prologue and the first three chapters, which might begin to give a better indication of the direction the story is taking.
