Chris Robinson liked an update for LOUISIANA BLOOD - A Chandler Travis and Duke  Lanoix mystery

Hello all of my 220 slice and dicers...just a brief update.

I’m at 234 pre-orders...so I only have a few days to scoop up the last 16 pre-orders to get over the Quill line.  So far I have nearly 100 of you entered into the $100 raffle...no that doesn’t mean one lucky winner will take home a $1.  One lucky winner will take home $100.

Now simple maths dictates that if you pre-ordered more than one you will have double or more  chances of being picked.  But whatever you choose to throw your $10s at, I’d like to thank all of you for supporting me during the last three months.

I’d especially like to give a big shout out to some of the many generous authors that have helped guide me through the treacherous waters of  crowd funding.

Peter Ryan, the author of SYNC CITY, a great thriller and worth checking out.  Joni Dee, author of AND THE WOLF SHALL DWELL, a wonderful thriller, also Billy O’ Keefe author of  THESE ARE MY FRIENDS ON POLITICS a wickedly funny children’s book.  Christopher Huang’s MURDER AT THE VETERAN’S CLUB a lovely period detective novel and Kelsey Rae’s BEYOND THE CODE, an adventure in the fantasy genre ...

And last but not least the two great syndicates that helped raise my profile by picking me as their book of the month...THE IDIOSYNCRATICATE SYNDICATE  and the THRILLER NIGHT SYNDICATE check them out.  When I’m fully funded I will post a more effusive list of the wonderful people that have also helped me along the way.

Anyway, enough hyperbole...if you have some credits, or are feeling generous, why not throw a few dollars at the Louisiana Blood stagecoach and spur those horses over the Quill border.  Saddle up HERE!

    Dearest Annabel,

My love, I must accept the fact that I will never lay eyes on you again. It is a hard truth but it is truth. I will never hold you again. Never taste the sweet nectar that is your kiss. Never walk hand in hand with you in our beautiful spring gardens. Never hold you close in moments of outrageous passion. This realization, more than anything else, has brought me to despair. I need you to know my intentions were pure. If you believe nothing else my dear heart, believe that. My entire life has been dedicated to this project. This impossible dream. I hoped to make a better world for you. A better world for everyone.

But I totally screwed the pooch on this one darling. Like it’s really, really bad. It didn’t work at all. I really thought opening that dimensional portal would be a good idea. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine freaking monsters would come out. So many monsters. Holy crap.

I can hear them gnawing through the blast doors now. Soon they’ll have me and my life will end in swift and undignified agony. I shall wait for you my dear. Across the river of death in the valley of eternity. I will wait until I can hold you again. If you’ll have me. I fear my wait will be a short one because Ted’s dumb ass left the teleporter turned on. For all I know these foul beasts have already stumbled into it and teleported home. In which case you may already be dead.

    In which case… my bad.

    Yours forever, Archie

Chris Robinson liked an update for Not Afraid of the Fall

Not Afraid of the Fall readers,

We are nearing the finish line, so let’s start sprinting. We were obviously just setting this campaign up for an epic finish! It is going to take each and everyone of you reaching out to 1-5 people and asking them to preorder a book for this to happen! Do me a huge favor and send the email below to anyone that might be interested! We’ve got this guys it just a numbers game!

      Dear (name),

I hope you are doing well! I don’t normally do this but I have a favor to ask you...My good friend Kyle James quit his job and backpacked in Europe and Asia for five months! He wrote a book called Not Afraid of the Fall about his journey and is trying to get it published! In order for the book to get full editing, developing, marketing and publishing...he needs 750 preorders. The book is currently about half way there and every book counts! If you are interested in helping his cause by preordering a book for $10 go to this URL:

       https://www.inkshares.com/books/not-afraid-of-the-fall

There are preorder instructions on the right side of the page under the green Preorder button!

Thanks for helping out and have an awesome day!

         Hiya hexers,

I have a few things brewing today that I wanted to let you know about.  First of all is this contest over on my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/amanda.orneck/posts/10209494310658402 Head on over to enter to win a Church of Technology pendant, and like the page while you’re there, will ya?

Secondly, I’ve sent out the first back-only chapter update this morning. If you want to be able to read chapter 4 (and 5 through 9 when they’re done), go ahead and back the project today. We’re only 31 orders away from Quill, so DHM could definitely use the support.

        Anyway, back to writing!

I don’t usually do two updates in one day but...

            WE FUNDED!

So let me make something clear: I use the term ’we’ when talking about this campaign because while I write the book, it’s your support and encouragement that makes it happen. These aren’t empty words meant to artificially include you and make you feel like part of the process. The whole point of Inkshares is that this is a community effort. A symbiotic endeavour between reader and writer to help create works of fiction and bring them to the public.

There are a lot of people who have gone above and beyond for this to happen and I’d like to highlight at least three that can benefit immediately from your support:

John Robin, the author of Blood Dawn, spearheaded community efforts to rally people together after I called for help from fellow authors. John is a hard working writer and a helluva guy. Check out Blood Dawn and support it.

Andre Brun, my CEGEP buddy and author of Lies & Deception campaigned for me harder than I could campaign for myself. He leveraged his own book and his salesmanship skills to gather a ton of pre-orders and get A God in the Shed in front of many new pairs of eyes. Lies & Deception is a terrifyingly ambitious book that deserves your attention. Check it out.

Paul Inman, my cohost on WriteBrain and author of Ageless also lent a hand and was a big part of the community, leveraging the release of his own book to help get visibility for A God in the Shed. Check out Ageless, I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finally, let me plug my buddy Brian Guthrie who was a great help and is currently participating in the Geek & Sundry Hard SciFi contest on Inkshares. Check out his book After Man and support it with all your heart (and pre-orders).

More soon as thing develop and, as promised:
