A real page turner!

Friends. Romans. Countrymen. (Supporters. Followers. Fellow human beings.)

I am 6 readers from tying for the 20th spot in the competition. Surely we can drum up at least that many more.

Please, if you haven't ordered and you don't have a dog in this fight, pre-order a copy now. If you *are* in the fight but are exceptionally magnanimous, by all means, please order a copy, too.

But I must especially entreat those who have already backed me: spread the word. I implore you. Share my book with at least one person you know. Whether they're a dyed-in-the-wool sci-fi geek (preferable) or just a beneficent soul (that works, too), give them the link to my book (refer, them, get more credits, buy more books!), and encourage them to follow through!

Am I going to storm up the ranks into the top-5? Yeah, if 400 readers suddenly fall in my lap over the next 9 1/2 days ... but maybe miracles do happen.

However, if they don't, real human pluck and perseverance is A-OK by me. I'm not going to sniff at breaking into the front-page rankings. But I need your help to get there.

I'll say it again: I'm your Leia. Be my Obi-wan Kenobi; you're my only hope.

    Howdy Everybody,

Just wanted to let everyone know I just uploaded another section of Monkey Business. You can now read Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3! Go check out the new pages if you're interested and please, please, please spread the word if you're enjoying the book. We're almost to our first 100 pre-orders but I've got a long way to go. Thank you all so much for your support and interest.

Also tomorrow we will actually put up a video of me talking about the book like a normal human person instead of weird sock puppet music videos. So you can look forward to me being awkward on camera. I'm sorry in advance.

Thank you again, you're all the best,

    Landon

After his child dies, a father investigates rumors of supernatural beings stealing children. Or is it all in his mind?
Cpatters liked an update for The Children of the Forest

A huge thanks to everyone who has purchased my book recently, or left feedback (and an especially large thanks to those of you who took the time to write glowing reviews of the opening prologue!) I can proudly say that after less than two weeks live, The Children of the Forest is about to hit a milestone; the big 50! I see that Inkshare has updated the top page, to now include the top 15 authors, with number 15 being only 81. When I first entered the contest, I did so late, and with no intention of winning. I was primarily focused on giving myself a deadline to edit some of my manuscript enough to put it out into the world, and see the response. That response has been overwhelmingly both positive, and supportive, and for that I am eternally grateful. Tonight I will be posting two more chapters, and a third tomorrow, bringing the total amount to EIGHT. Beginning Monday, I will be posting an additional chapter ever two days, until the contest is completed! Now, I have to ask something of everyone who has purchased my story, or who is merely following the account. Please consider giving your support to The Children of the Forest, if you haven't already, and please recommend the novel to your friends! I think this is a wonderful story that I am really proud, and I want to make an honest effort in pushing onto the top 15! Thank you again to everyone for your support and time, I look forward to hearing from you, and reading many of your own submissions.
