Today was a big day. I began with 48 copies sold and, as of this writing, that number is now 67!

My enthusiasm got the better of me yesterday when I conflated the number of copies sold with the number of readers I had, but I know better now ... and, with those distinctions in mind, I can say that the reader total has almost doubled since yesterday, to 44.

To those of you who have pre-ordered: thank you. If you've shared this with your friends, family, and networks, and been responsible for purchases from people I don't personally know (which is so awesome; I love seeing stranger's names associated with interest in my story. It's  gratifying): thank you again.

If you're just following me, taking the pulse, seeing how things might break: I think my campaign had the heart of a bull, today.

If you're on the sidelines right now, please jump in. This is a story I would love to finally tell, and I truly believe that you, and many other sci-fi fans, would love to read it. I need your help. Please, join me. Let's bring this story to life!

Earth is a gray ball of clay where the few who survive in its nuclear winter are crushed beneath the heel of an alien tyrant. Worth reading, the story is richer than mere classic pulp science fiction, but told in that gritty, cinematic style. Its cast is diverse and multi-layered -- even the most brutal aliens. Totally engrossing.
