Celso Hurtado’s THE GHOST TRACKS quickly drew me in with protagonist Erasmo’s Cruz’s relatable interior dialogue and the interesting premise of someone who holds themselves out on Craigslist as a "paranormal consultant." I’m interested in reading more about Erasmo’s adventures and a certain child who is possessed by an evil force.
A new Queen is ambushed, murdered, oddly raised from the dead, and captured. Now she must escape an arena where she is forced to fight other female slaves, to the death, for bandit pleasure - all the while trying to understand her new undead body.
