This week's treat is the first part of a new story/chapter. Chapter 4: Monsoon deals with how environmental engineering can be both a good thing and a bad thing, told through the story of FBI Special Agent Kiran Blake. The first part sets the plot and the tone of the story, let me know what you think. You can find it on the project website.
I will post up some completed stories, but in most cases I will post up excerpts like this one to make sure everyone has a good reason to pre-order the complete book. (Yes, frustrating, I know!) If you have thoughts on where you think the story should go, based on the excerpt, please let me know.
I'm still open to suggestions for technologies to be the basis for one of the last few stories so please make suggestions in the comments if you have them.
