Hi All!
What a ride it’s been, gang. We entered the contest later on than we would have liked, yet climbed all the way up to 18th place out of 96 entries in a few short weeks thanks to all of your support. Unfortunately there was no award for effort in this contest. Congratulations to the three winners, though!
The contest may be over, but it’s not over for The Far Reaches. Our new goal is to hit 250 books ordered by May 10th. This ensures publication of the book in paperback and e-book form through Amazon after a light editing process. So far, we are at 55 pre-orders and have 57 days to go! And as before, if we don’t reach our goal by the deadline, refunds will be issued on May 11th.
If you’re wondering how you can stay informed of our progress as well as read full chapters of The Far Reaches, you’ve got several options!

Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and interest these past few weeks. I am excited to hear that so many of you want to read our book and feel honored that so many of you have pre-ordered it whether you want to read it or not. Inkshares is definitely a rad and supportive site and it’s cool to see so many fun and creative minds come together in one place to support each other.
Thank you again. This contest has been exciting and I look forward to continuing to share The Far Reaches with all of you as it continues to progress to what I consider a readable state. Have fun. Stay classy. We hope to see you in The Far Reaches...
Oh my God, guys. We passed 200 orders. We’re currently at 201, a mere 49 preorders from the Quill goal. As promised, a new chapter is up. And now it’s time for one last push; I think we can get to the goal in the next couple weeks if we try, especially if everyone who’s following but hasn’t preordered yet orders their copy. Thank you all SO, SO much.
When I initially decided to write Not Afraid of the Fall, it was fueled by both competition and fear. I grew up in a community of overachievers and highly successful people. Many of my closest friends own companies, restaurants and nonprofits. Many are studying to be lawyers, doctors and coaches. My girlfriend is an strong women, who dedicates her to time to molding the minds of children to be successful. My Dad is a CMO for a global IT company and my mom founded her own pharmaceutical safety company. My sister earned her masters in social work while studying in New Zealand and is helping refugees find homes My brother in-law is a consultant with two masters and speaks more languages than I care to comment on, and my brother found his true calling in life as a chef.
I just wanted to say Thank You. Your support has meant more than you could ever know. Thank you so very much.
