Thad Woodman liked a review for One Murder More
In One Murder More, Kris Calvin gives us a front-row seat in California’s capitol and exposes the underbelly of the state’s political machine. An irresistible political thriller that reminds me of House of Cards.

We're over the crowdfunding hump and now on our way to publication!

I've finalized the draft manuscript and right now it's undergoing developmental editing. You can find the latest versions of the introduction, table of contents, and Chapter 4 - New Mexico: Old and New Posts on the website.

Meantime, I'm gathering more endorsements and beginning to map out the "citizenship and service" promotion tour around the country that will begin soon after publication in the months of September and October.

Let your friends know that they can order advance copies of the book. If they order a print copy through Inkshares, the shipping is free. Not something most of us will get on Amazon.

    Take care and TTYL!

    Best,

    Chris

Words fall painfully short to express the gratitude that I feel for each and every one of you!!!  Because of YOUR support, "Slothlove' the photo book is officially in the production phase!  Not only is this a huge personal dream of mine, but I truly believe that "Slothlove" will educate readers about sloths and inspire them to do their own part in making this world...the only world we get…a little bit better.

From myself and the sloths that will be featured in "Slothlove"…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

      WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!

Hello lovely readers/backers! It's been a while since the last update so here's a quickie. We're currently deep in the final edits for Abomination, making sure there are so unsightly grammatical errors, typos, or annoyingly long sentences, things like that. There will still be lots of horrendous, stomach-churning monsters though, don't you worry.

ALSO if you visited the site recently you may have noticed that there's a new PAPERBACK edition of the book now available for order. It's priced at a value-riffic $15.99 so for those who want something more physical than an ebook but less pricey than the $25 hardback, this is a great "porridge is just right" option! AND YOU STILL GET THE EBOOK INCLUDED. What is this madness? Here's the direct link to the paperback order page.

More news coming soon, we are working on some really cool stuff...

The twenty five hundred Haida people residing on Haida Gwaii are among 370 million self-described “indigenous peoples” alive today on the planet. Generally defined as people whose community pre-existed the larger nation sta. . .

            Hello, everyone -

Advance copies of the book were sent to a handful of potential reviewers and we have been very humbled by their responses. We'll be sharing some of their comments with you, our loyal supporters, before anyone else.

Here's this one from —Thom Patterson, Senior Producer, CNN

"In Blasted by Adversity: The Making of a Wounded Warrior, we learn first-hand how a fiercely independent 'country boy' joins 'the tip of the spear' during the U.S. invasion. We experience a horrific attack that changes Murphy’s life and the lives of his comrades forever. We’re also inspired by Murphy’s courage to defy the odds and test himself during his recovery. The words, 'get ready to fall,' become a life lesson. When a nurse tells him, 'you never know until you try,' Murphy begins the journey of a lifetime."

We also have a new cover for the book. Please remember to share the link to our book page with your contacts and on your social networks!

Hello Slothlove supporters!  Did you know that sloths are excellent swimmers?!?  Below is a screen shot of me and Pelota (the first sloth I ever cared for) swimming during the BBC Documentary "Nature’s Miracle Orphans"  Episode 3.  Shortly after this image was captured, Pelota very gracefully let go of my back and swam towards the shore.  It was amazing to see her display such a useful instinctual behavior with perfect ease.  In the wild, swimming is not only a life saving behavior for sloths that find themselves suddenly in a body of water...but it is also a way to disperse and reach otherwise unattainable sections of forest or islands.

With only three weeks left in the campaign, Slothlove has reached 61%...thank you so much for helping me get this far and please continue to spread the #slothlove.
