Paul Inman liked an update for Welcome to Deadland

It is with a very heavy heart that I write today’s Reader Update. As I’m sure many/most of you have seen, the worst mass shooting in US History took place in the early hours of today at Pulse, an LGBT nightclub, in Orlando, FL.

Orlando holds a huge chunk of my heart. It’s where I lived for six years, where I return several times a year, and the inspiration and setting of Welcome to Deadland. Orlando is still home to me. And as a member of the LGBT community, this attack has hit me to the core. I’ve been lucky enough to contact a vast majority of friends and people I consider family, and have confirmed their safety. This is something many friends and family inside and out of Orlando will not be able to say.

Many of my readers are still living in and around Orlando. If you can, I urge you to find a nearby location to donate blood. It could save another life. If you can’t, a page has been set up to monetarily donate support to the victims of this hate-filled tragedy. I will also be donating 100% of my royalties from the upcoming week to help those that need it far more than I do.

With love,

Zac

Sounds like a great read! Give it a look.

Hey friends, guess what today is?

    It’s LAUNCH DAY FOR PROXY!!

Rebekka S. Leber brings you a gritty tale of modern Gods battling for the most precious resource on Earth - the human soul. It’s like Jessica Jones crashed into American Gods and they got along so well they ended up buying each other drinks.

Bekki is one of the co-hosts of the Drinkshares podcast, and tonight will be all about her campaign launch. Watch us this evening at 8pm CT to get an inside look at her book and all the excitement of starting an Inkshares campaign after a thoughtful, deliberate draft period.

And if you’re interested in dark fantasy, order her book!

If you’re wondering how She Is the End is coming along... the answer is, GREAT. I am very close to sending the book out to my beta readers. I got a little sidetracked with morning sickness and exhaustion, but the second trimester is here and I’m back to work. It’s really important to me that I do the entire book justice, not just the major action scenes or emotional moments. I want you all to be gripped by the entire book, start to finish. And you will be...

    *Yoda voice* You will be.

I have the best crew of dedicated followers out there. You guys are just so fantastic!

TOO MANY CONTROLLERS, the short story project I’m part of, has hit the Quill funding goal and that means THE BOOK WILL BE PUBLISHED even if we don’t win this contest.

But let’s be real, you guys are going to make that happen, amiright?

Here’s why YOU need a copy - There are 15 amazing Inkshares authors coming together for this book for the first time in Inkshares history. I can tell you that each of us brings something great to the table. Trust me, I know, I have seen the synopsis of all the stories and even some of the early drafts. This book is going to be KILLER!

Since it’s now public, here is the synopsis for MY short story.

      1989 - Paul Inman

      • A rare, old arcade game is dropped off at a modern repair/restoration house where it is discovered that gameplay holds the keys to changing the events of the future.

Make sure you PREORDER YOUR COPY if you haven’t already. (I’m borrowing this great graphic from J.F. Dubeau)

Also very important, AGELESS is still looking for your reviews on Amazon and Goodreads!

Speaking of Ageless, I’m going to be at my local Barnes and Noble this SATURDAY for a Q&A and signing! If you are in the Myrtle Beach area don’t miss out! If you don’t haveAgeless we will have some on hand! Come let me thank you in person for helping me achieve this amazing goal!
