Hi everyone. I just wanted to share an excerpt from the 1st chapter. ENJOY!

Chapter 1: On a Dream and a Prayer As with anything, you must start at the beginning. The year was 2002 and I had been working for Clear Channel selling radio air, essentially commercial airtime. When I tell you I hated that job, multiply times 3. I hated going to daily 8:30 meetings to sit with fake sales people to then go out in the field to try and convinced business owners to buy airtime to sell their business to the public. It killed my creative spirit because you see, I wanted to be a singer. It's all I had ever wanted to do or be. I was not the competitive type, well only on the basketball court. But the atmosphere of radio sales dampened who I was as a creative person. But it was there are Clear Channel that I was introduce to a book called The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson that changed my life forever. This book taught the prayer located in the bible 1 Chronicles 4:10 that states; " Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked." The book itself was under 100 pages long and would place me on a path to asking and receiving what I wanted. It was because of this prayer that I believe I became Joss Stone's backing vocalist. But before we get there, I need to tell you how I used it. So, I am born and raised in South Florida, Lauderdale Lakes to be exact. And all my life I grew up listening to Betty Wright, a soul singer from the Miami area. She is known as "The Clean Up Woman" from her 1971 hit of the same name. For years, I wanted to meet and work with her. I met and knew her nephew and niece but could never get close enough. One day I went to an Erykah Badu concert and there Betty Wright was! She has written a song with Erykah called "Dilapidated Buildings," and Betty Wright walked out onto that stage with an acoustic guitar to sing with Erykah! I was shocked to as the least. It was in that moment I said to myself, there is no reason that you do not know this woman. How am I going to call myself a singer and I have not met and worked with Betty Wright!? So, I decided that I would work with Betty Wright that day and standing in the club I said the Prayer of Jabez. And then I released it. Would you believe that 3 months to the day of me saying the prayer I received a phone call from a friend who needed a ride to an audition. She said that I could audition too. When I asked who the audition was for, she told me that Betty Wright has having auditions for backing vocalist for some new artist name Joss Stone. I had no idea who the heck a Joss Stone was, but I WAS GOING TO MEET AND WORK WITH BETTY WRIGHT! 

 And so began the journey.

Hello, My name is Antonia Jenaè and I am a Singer, Songwriter and Photographer. Since 2003, I was one of Joss Stone's Original Backup vocalists. I had such a wonderful opportunity to travel the world doing what I loved, I decided to buy a camera to document all the places I would be going and the journey that I would be experiencing. Little did I know, that I would find another passion within my Photography. 

 The idea to do they coffee table book came from me realizing all of the images that I had that NO ONE ELSE HAD! Images like the first time Joss met the legendary James Brown or when Joss was nervous backstage the first time she performed at Glastonbury Festival or when she met the Princes' of England. I have been privy to many intimate moments with Joss and her family, times that show the REAL Joss Stone. I wanted to share these moments, with Joss' permission of course, with her fans around the world. In order to do that though, I need YOUR help!
