Craig A. Munro liked a review for The Talkers are Talking
Finally. A post-apocalyptic novel that doesn't involve zombies, but instead employs a far more terrifying group of antagonists: cannibals. Who cares about mindless, animated corpses stumbling around, chewing on the hapless when there are cold, calculating, living people doing the same thing? Janna knows how to build a sense of dread, through her narrative, and if you like dark, atmospheric works of suspense -- ones that delve into the darker sides of human nature and the fight for survival in the face of such horrors -- then you damned well better read this gem.

Craig A. Munro liked an update for The Talkers are Talking

I’m so excited to announce that The Talkers are Talking has met its Quill goal and will become a part of the collection!!  I just want to say thank you to all of you lovely, wonderful, generous and supportive readers.  I couldn’t have done it without you, and now as I start the long road to publication, I promise to do whatever it takes to make Talkers the best it can be. More updates to follow (also in regards to Breaking the Bechdel Syndicate- hell yea people, we are really making a formidable group against manic pixie dream girls and other depth-less female character tropes), but for now, thank you, thank you.

Craig A. Munro liked an update for Exile, Magus

I hadn't intended to send out an update today, but something occurred to me.  I've been doing most of my posting about potential plans for the future of Exile, Magus over on a Goodreads forum which not all of you may have been to.  With that in mind and me still wanting as much feedback as possible from all of you I figured that I would share a link to the group:  https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/17928984-ended-but-regrouping-let-s-get-exile-magus-into-quill

That's all I've got for today.  Next Sunday I'll have a full book recommendation update.  Enjoy the rest of your day and the week to follow.

Craig A. Munro liked the forum thread, How do you join a collection outside of a contest?
Books that did not win contests can be added to collections at the owner's discretion. I don't remember who (@Jeremy Thomas ?) said that Inkshares sends an email to collection owners periodically with books they might consider for their collections.

@Jim McDoniel 's book has added to the Sword & Laser collection after the contest. If Jim stops in maybe he can give some insight on what the process was like.

If you check each collection there is a pitch option. So you can send any of your books to a collection for consideration at any time. Thought, each collection owner might have their own rules for what they are taking or when they are willing to receive it.

Craig A. Munro liked a review for THE BONES OF THE PAST
An intriguing and beguiling fantasy universe, The Bones of the Past starts with a strong prologue and continues with page-turning-level world description and realistic, enjoyable conversations. The action is also wonderfully executed and exciting. I can't help but be very interested in what else this fantasy world will offer when even the preview is chock full of delightful details.

Craig A. Munro liked a review for THE BONES OF THE PAST
In just two chapters, The Bones of the Past shows the promise of a sweeping and expansive setting, but with characters that resonate on a personal level. Look forward to the rest of the book and the rest of the series to follow.
