Quick little follow up to yesterday's update.
Dear Supporters,
I am thrilled to announce some updates on my book. It's quite the process!
Last month I completed the developmental editing stage and am now onto the last copyedit revision. I am happy to say that this brings me one step closer to my publication date in late August/early September. The anticipation is killing me too, I know.
Now for the visuals. I have been working closely with my book's illustrator, Benjamin Wade. I met him through Louisville's duPont Manual High School's Visual Arts Magnet. He's an incredibly talented artist and I am so impressed with the witty and creative images he has illustrated for my book.
Aside from finalizing illustrations, I am also working on The Coffee Run's cover design. As much as we hate to admit it, we sometimes unconciously catch ourselves judging a book by its cover. That's why I am spending ample time creating a cover that will appeal to as many eyes as possible (with excellent content too, of course).
Sponsor update: I'd like to thank my Sponsors for going that extra mile in helping me fund my book. Expect your signed copies and letters of appreciation to be presented to you mid-September. As of right now, your names and businesses have been proudly printed in my book. Your support is incredibly appreciated!
One last thing - I recently published an article for Jack Myers' Media Village site. This company is working on a really cool platform that focuses on students in the first five years of their careers. Read my post here: https://www.mediavillage.com/article/intern-fail-learn-repeat/
That concludes my update for now. Thank you again for your support. In the meantime, spread the word about The Coffee Run!
All the best,
Sydney
PS - What do you think about my updated logo? (Hint: the "O" and the "R" are a different color for a reason. See it?)

Hey everyone,
Thanks for your early support of this endeavor! In the last 36 hours, we've sold 20 pre-orders of The Travel Playbook, which I think is a great achievement with little promotion. I'll be updating progress of the book here as we go along over the next 88 days. In the meantime, you should recommend the book to your friends! You'll earn $15 in credits through your account, and it'll increase the chances of this book going into production!
All the best,
Mark
Great post. Love the illustrations!
