Magic isn’t dead. It’s merely been lying in wait.

Afternoon Water Singers and Earth Wielders!

I'm back from my vacation and raring to get back into the world of Shadow of the Owl.  To that end I've put up the latest character spotlight on the Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/shadowoftheowlbook/posts/1178303595529539

I'm happy to announce that everyone who is on our email list will be getting a free copy of a graphic short story I wrote some years ago.  "Birth Pains" deals with the very unusual beginning of one of the people you will meet in Shadow of the Owl, and was published as part of the Winter's Eye anthology from Raven Warren studios.  As you are already a VIP for preordering Shadow of the Owl, I have already put everyone on the email list.  Therefore keep a lookout for your copy of the story in your email this week.

Also this week I will put up the second chapter of the book for preorder subscribers to read and enjoy.  If we get to 30 preorders I'll put up the third chapter.  It's in these first three chapters that we meet Warrek, Joppa, Chiave, and Fionn, and I know you'll love them as much as I do.

If you have a moment and are feeling in a highlighting sort of mood, why not help me out by highlighting your favorite excerpts of Shadow of the Owl for others to enjoy?  I'd love to hear what you think about the book.

Enjoy the Silence,
Amanda
