M. Robert Randolph liked an update for Sorcery for Beginners
Friends, Readers, and Sorcerers All,

We are officially one month away from the publication day for Sorcery for Beginners! I know it seems like forever since I first started bugging you about this project, but we’re almost to the finish line. As we head into the home stretch, I have a few more updates for you.

First, Sorcery for Beginners was selected as a Booklist Notable YA Book for Fall 2017. Since there are literally thousands of YA books publishing this fall, it’s very humbling that we were included among the likes of Philip Pullman (!), Patrick Ness, and Rick Riordan.

Secondly, we have another book event confirmed! This one is in our beloved San Francisco, so we’ll be bringing the whole family and making a weekend trip of it. If you live in the Bay Area, it would be great to see you!

Finally, Inkshares made a little video of me talking about the book. You can check it out below. Feel free to share on various social media platforms. This is a grassroots campaign we’re running, so any exposure is huge for us. Thanks again for all your support!

    M. Robert Randolph liked an update for Mushroom and Anchovy

    Greetings, adventurers!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t update in the wake of exciting news!

Guys... we did it. With just 2 days left in the campaign, we hit the 250 mark. Mushroom and Anchovy is FUNDED at the Quill level!

I’m at a loss for words, but the only two that come to mind are THANK YOU. I couldn’t have done this without everyone reading this e-mail. I’m so grateful for everything.

Can I just say that I’m really feeling the Inkshares community love right now? You guys are awesome. Even if I don’t do another crowdfunding campaign in the near future, I’m gonna be sticking around. What a supportive group of fellow authors--a group of very talented people. I’ve learned so much from you all.

If you want the chance at a $50 Amazon gift card, you still have time! I’m not closing the contest until the official end of the campaign--which is Monday. So, I will not count any preorders after 11:59 PM on Sunday (Sept. 10th) in the Amazon gift card draw. You’re automatically entered by preordering, but you can pick up some bonus entries. Take a look at the pinned post on my Facebook page for more details.

Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to be taking the next couple days off! I’ll get back to you all with the winner of the draw next week. I’m throwing in two ebook copies of my first book, novella Hub City Survival. It’s nothing like Mushroom and Anchovy, but hopefully the winners will enjoy it anyway!

That’s it from me for now, guys. This has been a real adventure. Thank you all for helping my biggest goal of this year come to fruition!

May your adventures be fraught with wonder and just enough peril to keep them interesting,

    K. M. Cooper

      Hey Campers,

I have a book signing tomorrow in Albuquerque at Bookworks! Even if you already have the book, come! Bring a friend! I would love to see you there. It starts at 11AM and I will be reading chapter 10.

Also, please review or rate the book on Amazon and Goodreads. We need to get to 100 reviews and ratings ASAP. Just click on the text and it will take you to the page.

Thanks so much for the support,

        Greetings, adventurers!

We’re at the home stretch, folks. The last few days. The final countdown, if you will.

With less than 25 preorders to go at time of writing, I’m starting to feel excited and hopeful! I still have work to do, though, to get to that number. Look at this beautiful bar:

        So close!

Thanks (again!) to local radio hosts Scotty and Tony of XL96 for blogging about Mushroom and Anchovy (again!). These two have been supportive of my work for years. Thanks again, guys!

By the way, this coming Thursday, I’m going to be starting a new initiative over on my Facebook page called Au-Thursday. I’m going to be featuring up-and-coming and indie authors, and their books. The first people to be featured will be supporters of MushAnch! Give my Facebook page a follow to see the authors I’ll be featuring. If you want a feature, hit me with a DM!

Final reminder about the draw! As I’ve mentioned before, you get an entry for preordering, but additional entries for sharing the pinned post on my Facebook page, and more. Details are all right here on that post! You can win a $50 Amazon gift card. I’ll be throwing in 2 ebook copies of my first book, Hub City Survival, if I hit the goal before 11:59 PM my time on Sunday. If I get the goal before the end of today, I’ll throw in a print copy. Let’s do this!

Thank you so much for this, guys, really. At this rate, it’s looking like it might just happen. And if, by some chance, it doesn’t, I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been following the campaign and contributing in any way. I’ve learned a lot from this experience and have managed to discover so many interesting up-and-coming books through this.

May your adventures be fraught with wonder and just enough peril to keep them interesting,

         K. M. Cooper

          Hi friends,

It’s been way too long since my last update and I sincerely apologize for that. Well, life got in the way and so it’s taking me longer to finish the draft. My ultimate goal is to finish by October and so bear with me folks!

Thank you for staying with me and supporting this project. I am looking forward to bringing Maggie’s dragon-filled journey into your hands.
