I'm just thrilled to see all the momentum on Inkshares with the Nerdist Collection Contest! Over the last three day's, I've had 14 pre-orders, which means I'm well on my way to the next milestone of 4%. Thank you so much to everyone who has come on board and believed in this project.
I am not officially in the Nerdist Collection Contest, so as a token to all the great talent in the contest, I'm doing my best to support fellow fantasy and sci-fi authors. I have quite a few favorites, but I've had the chance to connect to five particular authors, whose work I'd like to introduce you to below.
Please be sure to check them out and consider backing each of these projects. This is such a great chance to support some great book ideas and make them a reality, and I personally would really like to see these projects come to life.

I want to thank everyone that has followed A Distant State.
So just over a day going live with A Distant State. I've been busy behind the scenes. I've working on editing chapter 2, re-reading chapter 13, and I have a couple of friends that are post-editing for me. The two friends are both much smarter than I so that will only help out the overall reading experience of the novel.
