Christopher did a great job setting up this story and it's universe. The descriptions painted vivid imagery, and the character names... well, let's just say I'm in love with them. The book has a great start and it's definitely worth looking into.

I like your no nonsense style. Every word has its place and you don't waste time painting pretty pictures of scenery or creating false drama. The story is straightforward, easy to follow, and sets up the adventure nicely. I'm hooked.Bryn

This is very thought out and well written. The very beginning catches the reader's interest, and keeps the reader wanting more until they can't read anymore. I felt as though I was put into the setting of the story as I kept reading, and that is something that is pretty difficult to do. Excellent job!

Always great to have a world rich with lore and myth come to life. The author has clearly thought about the creatures of his world and crafted them with care. I think the conflict between the world and the characters within it are compelling and help bring the narrative to life. Also, by having this bolstered by great imagery helps keep the pages turning.
