Happy Weekend spring heeled Ripper fans!
Okay, I’ve reached 225 pre-orders, which means I’m only 25 from being at the Quill border and finally getting published.
I have over 200 followers now, some of you have been very kind and purchased a copy of Louisiana Blood…others are supporting me through some kind of astral projection that keeps me motivated. Now much as I love cosmic love, I’m still very keen prise a few more pre-orders from you and close my funding. This will allow me to just focus on editing before I hand over my manuscript to the powers that be on INKSHARES.
The next 25 pre-orders get not only an entry into the $100 raffle but also a copy of the script that inspired the book.
Why don’t I give you a mug, a hand embroidered snuggle blanket, a Ferrari or an evening out with Brad Pitt or Kim Kardashian?
I’ll tell you why…because my gratitude is worth far more to your Karma than mere earthly spoils.
I’m not going to insult your intelligence with tawdry trifles that will be consigned to a garage sale in the near future…whereas my gratitude will burn like an eternal flame forever…well, as long as I can tap at a keyboard J
Anyway, I’m hoping that at least 25 of you with a sense of humour and a grasp of irony will splurge out and close the funding…if not for my sake, for all my friends who are now hiding from me whenever I see them in the street J
I have been heavily supported by some authors who I have become friends with on the INKSHARES site and if you are in the reading frame of mind you can do worse than checking out their books after you have pre-ordered LOUISIANA BLOOD.
Check out Peter Ryan’s SYNC CITY and Joni Dee’s THE WOLF SHALL DWELL, both of them are fantastic examples of the thriller and mystery genre!
Hello readers!
As you can now see THE KNIGHTMARES is up for pre-order.
Please pre-order, and pass the word along to anyone you think might enjoy it!
There will be new cover-art coming soon from a brilliant artist and friend, so stay tuned for that as well!
Thanks in advance!

Dear friends,
First of all, let me point you to this article on examiner.com, in which Ms Alicia Smock discusses the Inkshares podcast, "WriteBrain", and some of what constitutes life within the growing Inkshares community. "WriteBrain" had some very good things to say about "Murder at the Veterans’ Club" on their last episode, by the way, and I do encourage people to give it a listen.
As some of you may have figured out by now, I normally send these bulletins out on Sundays. I thought I’d make an exception this week. You see, we’re in a bit of a time crunch. No no, not "Murder at the Veterans’ Club" ... I’m talking about JF Dubeau’s "A God in the Shed". Here’s the press release:

A God in the Shed by J-F Dubeau is a Fantasy/Horror story set in the forgettably small village of St-Ferdinand, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. The villagers have been hiding terrible secret for generations, but when their mysterious captive escapes but gets inadvertently trapped in the McKenzy’s backyard shed, it’s up to the Venus and her friends to figure out how to dispose of this terrible and malevolent burden; an Old God of hate and death.
You can find out more about this dark and beautiful, read sample chapters, reviews and pre-order you copy of A God in the Shed by visiting: www.inkshares.com/books/a-god-in-the-shed
You can listen to the prologue as read by Ageless author Paul Inman here.
Need more incentive?
• Each pre-order enters you into the "I want to kill a reader" raffle. The winner will have his name and likeness used in the book as a minor character that gets killed off. The author will work with the winner to find the appropriate means of demise to satisfy both the winner and the story.
• Each physical copy of A God in the Shed will be signed and numbered as an exclusive first edition item.
• Free, exclusive A God in the Shed bookmarks will be included with the physical copies and mailed to eBook supporters.
• Orders of three or more copies guarantees your name to appear in the Patrons list printed at the end of the book.
• You get to enjoy the satisfaction and pride at having supported both art and literature.
A God in the Shed is the first part of a trilogy that pushes the line between beauty and horror by telling a story that changes how we look at magic and the world around us. You have a chance of being part of making this book a reality and supporting a new author on his journey.
However, time is running out! The campaign ends April 22nd. Don’t miss out and order today!

(Dear friends, it might be worth noting that each physical copy of "Murder at the Veterans’ Club" obtained via pre-order is also an exclusive, signed first edition item. Just in case that makes a difference ... but first, let’s get Mr. Dubeau across that finish line.)
Pop (champagne)! Hurrah! Cheers!
whooping 252 orders means that "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" will see the light of day!
I want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you that have ordered. This was an intense month+ and you guys made it happen, on to phase two, which means trying to get this book to a staggering 750 orders (!) which will get the big Inkshares oiled machine behind us promoting and pushing. doable? not sure, but i will give it everything i got.
On with the update:
(1)
#250 is Yan Liu (congrats!). She will have a character named after her that will have at least one line. #251 coming milliseconds after her is Roger Potter. Since i am a affable guy -some people now would smirk (or shout) - Roger too will have a minor character named after him. and before you condemn me as a wise-guy, even though the novel takes place mostly in London, and Roger is a fairly common English name, there was no Roger thus far. There will be now (congrats!).
(2)
Now that the book is a fact. I urge you (if you can afford it) to order again a "Spymaster" which is 3 REAL BOOKS. This will automatically get you in the Patron List inside the book for all of eternity .
Btw - all pre-ordered physical books come signed, and whoever meets me later on with his copy (or send it to me), will get a personalized message next to the signature, so stop asking me to do it, i humbly would do all 750 copies if it gets me there ;-)

Huge thanks to Vicki Goodwin who featured "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" & Inkshares in her blog this week: https://vickgoodwin.wordpress.com/2016/04/14/new-book-publishing-concept-have-you-heard-of-inkshares/ - check out her blog, it’s fab.

There are a few books worth mentioning that are on the verge of Quill (250 orders). If you liked Inkshares, the concept & you like thrillers. Please consider ordering Louisiana Blood by Mike Donald. An excellent thriller, trust me I’ve read some of it.
That’s it for now.. very excited here and again huge thanks to all... to celebrate I have two baths to run and diapers to change (LOL just kidding) ..
keep sending it to people you know - let’s shoot for 750 with your amazing help. You guys rock!

- Joni/Jonathan/Yoni/Jon anyway you want it tonight is fine by me.

Hi all!
There are a few thing i would like to talk with you about in the weekend update...
But ! First thing first. This is now your chance to be the lucky guy who will shoot the book to being published as we are standing at the moment (Saturday 6:39 London time) on 249 orders!
*** In fact to get you guys ordering - lucky 250 will have his name featured in the novel as a minor character! so i will have to tweak things around (as i said it is already well written). ***
I will come back to update as soon as this happens!
x
Jonathan

Hey everyone, happy Saturday!
Today’s a big day for me, it’s the friends and family screening party for my first feature. I’m getting anxious, not so much nervous, but anxious. Really looking forward to it!
Before I get into anything on Cape’s Side Bay’s end, I wanted to give a special shout out to Tabi Card for putting together this sweet new cover for Cape’s Side! If you haven’t already please check out her work, Scribbles: A collection of words, which is funding now and Project Human. They’re both great and I think you’ll enjoy them!
And, WOW WOW you guys are the best! Over 31% to light-publication!!! This is incredible! Who knows if we will make it that far, but I’m getting exciting. The campaign is a long long road ahead and your support will continue to be needed to help reach the goal. That being said, you’re all flipping amazing!
And lastly!
MUGS!
As mentioned above and yesterday today is a friends and family screening of my first feature film: Out There. Also as mentioned yesterday we are raffling off some of the mugs (pictured in previous update) from the film!
The first will go to all of you who have already pre-ordered. Then another will be given away to the next 10 pre-orders will be entered into a raffle for 1. And then the next 15 pre-orders will be entered into a raffle for another 1.
Let’s spread the word of Cape’s Side Bay and get it to where it needs to be to become a published novel. Which in ten years you will be able to see someone read and say “hey, flip to the back. See that? That’s my name."
