Nicole Bruno Cox liked an update for Steel Souls: Death Mask

Hello fellow Steel Souls!

After quite some time, I have finished chapter one of Steel Souls: Death Mask!  I’m pleased with how it came out, though any feedback any of you have is greatly and deeply appreciated.  I’m very sorry that it took so long to finish it up, but life will have its way with you at times.  But yes, thank you all for your continued support, and I hope you all enjoy Chapter 1!  And please do review or critique or however you will.  It truly does help.

Cheers,

Vivian

Nicole Bruno Cox liked a review for Cape’s Side Bay
With a thrilling air of mystery, Cape's Side Bay engages readers with compelling suspense. Wonderful imagery is used to create a sense of the town and the people within it. Though the people seem to have dismissed the danger to that of urban myth, the prologue clearly propels the story in such a way I really want to know more. In fact, the weakest part of the story is that there isn't any more to read.

67 65 6e 65 73 69 73 GenesisI like that touch. Genesis. Having worked with Hex for about a year I instantly grabbed onto the use of code and couldn't help but to smirk at its use, but then again, its right there in the title isn't it?Deus Hex Machina, God-code Machine? The world is fully realized, almost to the point to where it loads you down if you can't quite grasp the inside tidbits and references similar to the first Tron movie. However it doesn't overwhelm you, rather it encapsulates you in this world of the unbelievable and fantastic. Letting you see the imagery with your own mind.Dig into it, and you might learn a little something, even a new mystery. Very clearly written with a much larger view in mind.Sink your teeth into it, you might enjoy the taste.

              Hey!

So the ball’s rolling on Aftermarket now -- it’s part of the Nerdist Video Games contest. This is both really exciting and very terrifying, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes. Thanks for the support, folks. :)

                Hi everyone,

I was back in Boston last weekend to record an interview for Chronicle, the nation’s longest-running, locally-produced nightly newsmagazine. I am happy to announce that UMDC will be included in an upcoming episode focused on books by New England authors. They have yet to tell me when it will air, but once I know, I’ll be sure to let you know. (Should be within the next few weeks.) Chronicle runs on Channel 5 in Boston, Channel 9 in Manchester, and online everywhere else. Six books will be spotlighted in total, including Everybody’s Fool, the most recent work by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo.

I updated my website earlier today (www.quincycarroll.com) to include all of the interviews and reviews I’ve done/received since the novel’s publication. I’ll post the Chronicle interview there too, once it’s available. Stop by, check it out, and let me know what you think.

Thank you for your continued support. If you’re ever in the Bay Area, drop me a line!

                Quincy
