I am already enthralled in this novel.   I feel every anticipation  and apprehension that Marshall Mitner  feels - so- already I can connect with this character.  Amanda’s description of the setting is such that anyone can identify the time and place. It is relatable to any time.  This appears to be a sci-fi genre which is very appealing to audiences of all ages because it explores the unknowns of the future.  In just this beginning chapter- Amanda has set the scene for suspense and speculation.   Who also cannot relate to life longevity?  We all ponder the Big Question of when ?  Marshall seems to now ponder- How??
