What an amazing ride! To win the contest we would have to more than double our numbers in one day. Sure it's possible but I would like to say the support shown means more to me than winning a contest. I'm currently working towards my Masters in writing so the journey isn't over. There is the potential to sell a thousand copies as well, and that would get the book published so I will keep working to that end.

I cannot thank everyone enough for their support! It does truly mean the world to me. I want to address what's next for The Sleeping Man. If I don't win the contest and if I don't sell a thousand copies, it means I will have to proofread, edit, and revise all by my little old self. That means The Sleeping Man will happen, just not as soon as we would have liked. Once the book is done, I will try to find a publisher and if I cannot, then I will simply self publish on Amazon or another service which means the book will be cheaper.

Once again, thank you to everyone for their support and while my peers have sold more copies of their work, I am amazed we did as well as we did. More updates to get to that thousand copies!

All the Best,

Stephen Carignan

Almost to 50! We've just started September and now we're catching up to top ten, in fact we're more than halfway there. Today's mission (if you choose to accept it) is to walk up to someone and get them to preorder face to face. Just yesterday I stood over someone's shoulder with an intent gaze and watched them preorder. Yeah, I know how it sounds and I'm not saying I memorized his card number, but I totally memorized his card number.

Thank you again everyone! Everyone chant, "Half-way there! Half-way there!"
