A reporter investigates a murder during Salem’s Halloween celebration. He finds there’s more to Salem than meets the eye. The locals will do almost anything to keep their secret from getting out, but would they kill to?

Pockets of the Shendoa army are escaping capture and a gargoyle named Kaing searches for aid to rescue the last survivors of his people. Kaing is counseled to seek out the Ice Maiden, possibly the only person who can help him free his people.
