Eche M.O. liked an update for Murder at the Veterans’ Club

1) www.peterkin-investigates.com is now live. Dang, but I need a better book cover. Not to fear though, better art ought to be making itself known over the next week. Right now, peterkin-investigates.com doesn’t do much more than lead right back to the project page on Inkshares; but it will eventually play host to a bunch of new and interesting things.

2) Faith, author of A Cup for the Dead, has started an author’s blog, A Recipe for Murder, dedicated to that golden interbellum age of civilised murder. I encourage you to go check it out; and her book while you’re at it: that book does an excellent job of evoking the joie de vivre of those roaring ’20s.

3) The pre-order campaign is expected to begin at Easter. Watch this space, folks!

The first thing I'll say is that I don't typically read books about space and intergalactic wars and all that. But being that the authors are personal friends of mine, of course I was going to give it a try. It was definitely worth it. I don't claim to be a professional, and I believe that unbiased opinions and reviews are the best for everyone. But it was well written, the characters very realistic and likable, even the evil ones. Of course, this is only the first chapter. But I, myself, have had the privilege to more of the story, and it is chalk full of lovable characters and surprises. It's definitely worth the investment to read the whole story.

        Dear Readers,

We are still doing well. Pre-orders continue to arrive steadily but I am counting on each of you to help getting the word out. If you’ve got a friend, cousin, brother, roommate, hamster (okay, maybe not hamster) that you think might enjoy a new space opera novel, please point them to this page. Since I’m a part of the Nerdist Space Opera contest, my timeline is a bit tighter than most campaigns. I would love to see 250+ pre-orders by March 14. My dear readers and followers, you are the force that can make this happen.

In the news, I have created a new "official" author Facebook page that I’ll also be using to update anyone following this novel as well as future novels. That’s right, folks, I have two more drafts waiting in the wings and a whole army of Plot Bunnies ready to be released upon the world. You can find that page here: www.facebook.com/RHWebster.ScienceFiction. Feel free to share it around and leave comments and questions there as well.

Also, I have been featured on The Warbler as well as a part of the Nerdist Space Opera contest. You can see the write-up there: http://www.thewarblerbooks.com/featured-author-rh-webster/

As always my readers and followers, thank you for your support and thank you for believing in both myself and Lucky. Together, we’ll make this happen!

Eche M.O. liked a review for Sync City
Ryan has taken the traditional sci-fi genre and turned it on its head. From a fully realized world with its own laws to engaging characters, Sync City is truly a powerhouse of storytelling. All of these aspects would make for a compelling read, but the technical proficiency of the writing is the subtle platform that supports the world and the characters dancing on it. Truly a great read, and I look forward to more.
