Amanda Orneck liked an update for To Live and Die in Avalon

Hello, everyone!

Our campaign has been officially extended until July! Consider this a soft relaunch and here is what you can expect:

Incentives:

-Everyone who pre-orders a physical copy of To Live and Die in Avalon gets a cover art magnet! (while supplies last)

-Do you want to be in the book? This is a fun idea that I’ve seen used by other authors and I figured, what the heck! Every pre-order enters you into a raffle to appear in the novel as a minor character! Sharp-dressed assassin? Undercover contact? Disposable henchperson? Pre-order now for your chance to be any one of these, or we can work on something a bit more personalized! First raffle to take place once we hit the 100 pre-orders mark!

-At the 250 pre-order mark (Quill!) I will hold a second raffle for a chance to be in the book AND a framed high quality print of Nathan Anderson’s portrait of Penny Thorne!

-You get the warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing you supported a first-time novelist to publication (my eternal thanks and free hugs if I ever meet you in person are included).

In addition to those incentives, I am now developing a weekly Youtube show/vlog wherein I rant about my influences and a variety of other geeky things! Get to know the guy behind the book and possibly get a few laughs in the process.

I have a couple of other things in the works that I can’t comment on just yet until they are concrete, but if they come to be...oh boy, the excitement!

Amanda Orneck liked an update for Project Human

    Extremely brief update:

Wow, we’re climbing towards 100 followers! Soon as I hit 100, I shall release a chapter (though some of you, the ones who click that recommend button, will get that chapter earlier *hint hint*).

And about that chapter. Um, well, writing this has been the most unconventional project I’ve done. Ever. The world of 2120 is just so big, and I keep stopping to figure out a bunch of HOW’s and WHY’s. It’s tedious, but with each venture into various future things, this story keeps coming into clearer and clearer focus.

       Hiya hexers,

I have a few things brewing today that I wanted to let you know about.  First of all is this contest over on my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/amanda.orneck/posts/10209494310658402 Head on over to enter to win a Church of Technology pendant, and like the page while you’re there, will ya?

Secondly, I’ve sent out the first back-only chapter update this morning. If you want to be able to read chapter 4 (and 5 through 9 when they’re done), go ahead and back the project today. We’re only 31 orders away from Quill, so DHM could definitely use the support.

      Anyway, back to writing!

Amanda Orneck liked an update for THE BONES OF THE PAST

Here we are almost two weeks ahead of schedule and my re-writes and fixes for The Bones of the Past are finished! Not only that, but after struggling with my acknowledgements, I have finished all the associated paperwork and writing Inkshares and Girl Friday Productions need to get the ball rolling on their end. All of this means I should have a schedule for edits and even a tentative publication date sometime in the next few weeks!

I had also been toying with the idea of including a map but hadn’t managed to find an artist that felt like the right fit for my book. Little did I know he was in front of me the whole time. My amazing map was drawn by non-other than John Robin, the author of Blood Dawn (if you haven’t pre-ordered his book yet you can and should do that HERE!). The hand-drawn style perfectly fits with the flavor of my world. I hope you like it!

        Thank you all once again!
