Salacia: the arrival
Two ships, carrying scientists from different generations, arrive on the first habitable exoplanet. The discovery of a now-extinct, ancient race thrusts them together on a mission that, if they fail, will mean the destruction of Earth and Salacia.
Wesley Reid created a forum thread: What is Inkshares Policy on Already-Published Novels?
By which I mean, aren’t the projects on Inkshares generally supposed to be projects that are in-progress and haven’t already been published somewhere else? Maybe this is just an incorrect assumption of mine, as I can’t seem to find anything in the FAQ or forum about it . . .

So, you definitely have my attention with this story. I skipped the spoilers you posted at the beginning of Chapter 1 entirely (which I’m glad I did), and I was building up all kinds of expectations and theories right up until the end of the second chapter, when I promptly had to throw them all out the window. I was very curious, at that point, as to where you were taking this story next.

Then I went back and read the spoilers at the beginning of Chapter 1, and a lot of that curiosity died. The biggest piece of advice I can offer right now is to get rid of that spoiler section. Seriously. It’s not only unnecessary and distracting, but it very much detracts from the experience of discovering the setting and story that you’ve created. I cannot be clear enough about this: your draft, and your subsequent funding campaign, will be more successful without it.

That said, I’ve very much enjoyed your writing thus far, and I’m looking forward to your next update :)

Seems like "they found what" is left over from a previous edit, and should probably just be "they hit pay dirt"
