Two weeks ago I received my Developmental Edits from my fantabulous editor Lindsay from Girl Friday Productions -- a day or so before I was beside myself with anxiety and anticipation, so I posted this on Twitter:

  Dev edits coming in on Friday. SCREEEOOONNNKKK. Was that my heart making a Godzilla noise? Why yes, yes it was.


So, of course when they arrived, I had to make this image: 


And now, on the day that I complete two weeks of wailing, teeth gnashing, amputating my darlings, and re-writing, I am happy to now post this image:

Notice that the Edits are proud, strong, never defeated, and breathe Radioactive Fire.

I, like the ruined city, will just shiver quietly and wait for dawn.
