Fellow sentients! Greetings.
I am incredibly excited about the next few steps in the development cycle of The Life Engineered. Iāve written my acknowledgements and dedications. Iāve sent in my final draft and will soon get the copy edited version to review (I will have read this book so many times you guysā¦) but the most exciting is that weāre nearing a final cover! We have the illustration. We have the⦠title⦠I guess. Weāre soon going to have the logo for the Sword & Laser Collection and our designer has already sent us some great concepts that we are debating internally.
But Iām going to show you exactly none of that. Not because I donāt want to, but because I canāt. Itās too soon.
Instead, Iām going to ask you for your support again.
Do you know what question I get the most from people who have read The Life Engineered? āWhenās the sequel?ā. It is a super flattering question and each time I stammer that Iām working on it. Make no mistake; I am. However, with The Life Engineered releasing in March and having to give the first book some breathing room after release, I have several months with nothing on my plate! There are a few projects in the works that Iām not at a liberty to discuss yet but I have this hole in my schedule that I need to fill.
So Iām filling it with this: A God in the Shed
Go check it out. If you enjoy what I do and want to see more of it, the best thing you can do is support another project of mine. I swear Iāll leave you fine sentients alone for a while after this one, but if you could toss me a pre-order and help me be in the Top Five for the Nerdist Collection contest, I would love you forever and would be in an increasingly good position to create more content for you to consume. If each of you were to pre-order a single copy, we'd be in very good shape.
Support the arts as they say.

Greetings friends!
Let me start with the expected words ofĀ gratitude:
Friends, I do not come here with only words of thanks. I also have news. Nothing earth shattering but a few little things.
First, if you look at the Inkshares page for A God in the Shed, youāll notice that Iāve reworked the book synopsis, description and even the āabout the authorā section.
Second and more interesting, Iāve added a link to a PDF sample of the first three chapters. Itās still a bit rough but youāll get a gist of the tone and feel of the world and characters.
Third and last, Iām working on a book trailer video. If youāve seen the one I made for The Life Engineered, Iām hoping to do something in the same vein. So look out for that (or wait for me to send an update about it).
One more time, thank you for your support. I donāt know if you realize how important this is to me and how much every little contribution means. You guys are awesome.
