Thank you for all of the support! The draft is in the works and off to a marvelous start! I will update and place pictures/video up on here soon. This project excites me, and I believe I have something worthy of the top three in this contest. If you have pre-ordered, thank you!!! If you haven’t, please consider it. This contest works like kickstarter, and the pledges to pre-order drive and determine who ends up in the top 3! So, please consider pre-ordering if you haven’t already (you won’t be charged and it won’t be released unless I get a minimum of 250 pre-orders), and even if you don’t pre-order, please, please spread the word! I’m always here if you have any questions/suggestions, and I’m coming up with my own little motivating factors for pre-ordering...if you have ideas for what would motivate you, let me know. (For example, I was thinking of making the first 20 people who pre-order have characters in the book, albeit minor characters, named after them...thoughts?)

Other Updates? Prepping to  crowdfund Book 2 in The Maren Kane Sacramento-based mystery series. The 750 preorder threshold is daunting. Still, I’m happy  a high bar is required, achieving it will represent true democratic publishing. (Especially if a coin flip is involved. Although if you didn’t follow the Iowa caucus results, ignore that.)
