Bryn Hagan created a forum thread: Sadly not one review of new work
So I posted some new material ’Mr Rodgers’ it was titled. It’s an damned good chapter, with some subtle humour thrown in, but none of my 40 or so followers bothered to comment.

So either all the people who say great things about my work are just being nice, or it’s simply boring.

I know it’s not. But if I can’t even get a review, how on earth will I get a sale?

Actually Teri, you bring up a very important point. What would suffice as evidence? But it’s not a new problem. Someone pretty famous realised this - that faith brings miracles, but miracles don’t always bring faith.

Please check out my new snippet, ’Mr Rodgers.’ I promise, absolutely and utterly guarantee, that you will love it. It’s bloody brilliant. And once you’ve finished, please share it with as many other people as you can.

Sorry for sounding so obnoxious, but I don’t mean to be. I’ve come to understand one of my weaknesses, which is sometimes a strength, and that is that I’m often ruled by my emotions, and when I’m feeling good, I have to let everyone know.

I happened to be reading through my book, and fell in love with it again - which is a good thing as I’d almost given up on it and began to think it a steaming pile of manure - and on the spur of the moment, felt I had to share this particular sample.

It’s probably my own inability to adapt to technology, but I’ve found a typo in a book I was recommended and am now following, and want to quietly let the author know, without announcing it to the whole world, but can’t figure out how. I’ve spent 10 minutes doing it so far with no success.
