Dear readers and supporters of Trekonomics,

    Great news!

As you may have noticed, your copies of the book are shipping out this week! Don’t forget to confirm your address.

If you are among those backers outside of North America, your package will take a little longer. But it will get to your door eventually.

For supporters and friends of Trekonomics on the West Coast, save the following dates:

    • In Los Angeles: reading and signing at Skylights Books in Los Feliz (1818 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027), Saturday June 4th 2016 at 5:00 PM. The one and only Chris Black (Mad Men, Star Trek: Enterprise, The Outcast etc...) will introduce the book.

    • In the Bay Area: Prof. Brad DeLong has tentatively agreed to join us from Starfleet Academy (aka Berkeley) to discuss all things Trekonomics at Books Inc. Berkeley (1491 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley 94704) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM.

I hope to see you there!

There will be more events announced shortly.

    Live Long, and Prosper.

    Manu

PS: the meantime, here is a picture of the book in its final, bookstore-ready form:

Eric, the book is out on May 31st. Backers will receive their copies before that. Advanced copies of the book have been sent to the press. It is my understanding thay Publishers’ Weekly usually publishes its reviews well ahead of others: it is above all a magazine for the book trade (for instance, bookstores tend to use PW’s reviews to stock upcoming releases). I hope that assuages your concerns: you will get your copy in the next four weeks or so.)

        Trekonomics review in Publishers’ Weekly

Dear friends and backers of Trekonomics,

I am delighted to let you know that the first reviews are in. In particular, here is a nice one from Publishers’ Weekly (read in full here: http://publishersweekly.com/978-1-9417-5875-5). And this is the screenshot for your convenience.

We will be announcing a series of events shortly!

        In the meantime, as usual,

        Live long, and prosper!

        Manu
