@R.E. Hilburn all the active participants in The List 2016 contest have a participants’ badge. If you don’t my guess is it means your book isn’t in funding mode yet. Just email hello [at] inkshares and let them know they need to switch your project to active funding so that you can actively participate in the contest.

@Maggie Hoyt A few others who were in Quill production when The List started flipped back to funding for it. I’m guessing you were missed because you were technically still in funding at the time...? Whatever the case, it might be worth your while to check in with Inkshares about flipping back to funding.

Yes, @Christopher Huang , mine flipped into Quill production at almost the exact same time the List nominees were announced. I haven’t done any actual production on it, so as to remain eligible, but my new readers aren’t counting. (I think I may only have had 1 so far, so it’s not too much to your detriment!) I don’t know if it’s supposed to work this way - since my campaign did end, maybe I’ve clocked in my tally? Either way, it would be nice to know whether I should pester new people to buy books this month.

@R.E. Hilburn Yes, I think you need to be in an active campaign for the "List Participant" icon to show up. I do notice that it’s only on those books that are currently funding. It’s automatic, near as I can tell.

(Speaking of which--and perhaps to my own detriment--I notice that @Maggie Hoyt ’s "The Fairy Stepmother inc." is not currently in funding, but in the post-funding/in-production phase. I think this means that any new readers are not being counted. What’s up with that?)

Hey @R.E. Hilburn  Congrats on making it onto The List 2016! The badges indicate that you have won a contest, so no one should have a badge for The List 2016 contest yet.

You can also earn badges by being accepted into collections or being chosen by a syndicate.

Do start selling pre-orders, the top projects with the most pre-orders win (plus a the guest judge picks). I would start trying to catch up as quickly as you can.

Let me know if you have any other questions! We are always happy to help!

Hey everyone! My project The Heartside of Pluto has been nominated to the 2016 List contest and I’m very grateful and excited but can’t figure out the emblem thing. I’ve noticed that other participants of this contest and (other contest) have an emblem or badge on their book page from that particular contest. I’m new-ish to the Inkshares community and still learning how to use this platform.  So I’m wondering if there’s something I’m supposed to do to have one of those emblems appear on my book page for the List contest? Or is this an automatic thing? My project is still in draft mode so not sure if that could be the issue. Please let me know if anyone knows how to add the emblems/badges. Thanks!
