Thank you all for following "Tales From Mist Lake" It has been a strange 90 days. Since I decided to enter the CryptTV contest, even after the contest I pushed for release of the hardcover. During this time I learned a lot about myself. All but two stories are updated for release.

I will take two months to update all stories and make the connection they have to each other more clear. Originally the connection was just a suggestion allowing the reader to connect each story. I hope to release the short stories as the 13th story ties in how each one is connected and why Mr. Scratch is so interested in the family.

I hope to try funding again by early March or April. It does break my heart that I will need to push for a paperback option. I fell that while readers were interested in the anthology they did not want a hardcover.

If you haven’t already please check out "Enter The Phoenix"  A Science Fiction Fantasy. Searching for a new planet, Jalil discovers dark figures are sabotaging his life work. Stranded on an alien planet, Jalil is haunted by visions of a possible future their only hope is an immortal who holds the key to save everyone.

Thank you all for following my madness. It has been a difficult year for most of us. While several personal issues have occurred these last two months. I find myself with just 6 orders at this time. I feel this is mostly on me not pushing to sell. At the same time I also feel that the hardcover option may not have been the best option. I know I’ve said it before, and it still holds true. I will wait three months and hope to change for a paperback option. I really hope that is possible.

I have some good news, I have decided to try my hand at releasing another book. You can read the draft now. This novel is finished, and only requires small changes like any story you read. This gives me time to fix ’Vast Land’ that I only want to release after Mist Lake. Although you don’t need to read the anthology to find out what’s going on.

So here it is. "Enter The Phoenix" my first Novel. (Yes you can tell) like I said small changes. Does it have a chance, I hope so. I still have hope for ’Tales From Mist Lake" I try, I fail. I try again.

With only 20 days left, I know it’s still possible for "Tales From Mist Lake’ to get in the 250 goal. However I know it is very slim. Only 6 orders have been processed. Not sure if this has to do with the stories or marketing. I’m not really sure. Really could use feedback in the event it does not meet preorder goal. In the event I do not make the orders needed I will push out another campaign in March with paperbacks instead of hardcover. (Hopefully I can change that does anyone know?)

Since the original stories were implied to be interconnected I have been revising many of them for a smoother connection that gives each story a connection to another. In many cases it will connect to the next short story. (Sorry I have not posted more updates)

Please spread the word about my work. Or give me feedback on ways to improve the stories.

Take a look of the new working cover.

Thank you again for your time. I hope we can get the ball rolling. I just want to thank my followers for keeping up with me as things go along.

31 days remain for pre order and only 5 copies sold. This is upsetting, true a lot can happen in that time. However I’m going to keep promoting like I have. I don’t like to send direct messages to my followers, that is just me. If this does not meet the 250 quill goal then I will let it sit until March 1st. Hopefully I can change it to paperback if that happens and I might be able to make more pre-orders.

I have listed two additional drafts on my profile with ideas that are just as developed as ’Tales From Mist Lake’ please check them out. "Vast Land" is a not a true sequel for Mist Lake, but it does suffer the effects that happen in these short stories.

I will send an update again when we hit the 15 day mark, hopefully I have more preorders by then. Until then I hope you enjoy the few stories listed for "Tales From Mist Lake"

Thank you for keeping up with me. I am slowly working on updating each story one at a time. currently only eight of thirteen stories are listed. The larger stories will go through a re-write while the others will be edited for consistency.

Thank you again for reading my madness. Have a safe Thanksgiving.

I apologize for any update issues, I am still figuring out how to email and notify readers. I have posted four additional stories. Soon I will be updating three more stories. Some of these still need heavy editing. Thank you again for staying with me as I learn more about Inkshares. I have also uploaded a draft version of Vast Land containing the first fourteen chapters. Please read and give back any feed back. Please not this is a rough draft and is going under a heavy rewrite.

Thank you for your time

Joshua

While the contest for CryptTv is near. I am no where near the top 10 list. That is okay, Still seeking pre-orders for January 10, 2017 deadline. 250 at least for a light publication.

I want to thank everyone who had read the two stories listed. I hope to post the others soon. I will notify you when that is complete.

Thank you,
