Good evening, sailors!
I actually wrote this update yesterday, but I didn’t see where they moved the "update readers" function, so I just posted it under the comments on the project page and hoped for the best. Turns out that was wrong, but! Another author on here was kind enough to help me sort it out. So here’s the news:
Another quick update, but this one is pretty important!
I’ve had at least two people who tried to pre order, but even though they made it to the confirmation page on the website, did not get a confirmation email. When this happened, I had no record of an order from them.
**Please confirm that you received a confirmation email after ordering**
If you did not, you can email hello@inkshares.com for assistance. They were able to help the couple of people I know had this issue.
Thanks!

Good morning, sailors!
I couldn’t let it slip by to miss making another update because W O W! Storm Song has been holding the #1 spot for almost 24 hours! I may or may not have cried a little when I saw my name at the top of the leaderboard.
Thank you all so, so, SO much for pre ordering and promoting. I cannot express my gratitude enough.
I’m heading out of town for a long weekend to visit with one of my very best friends. I’ll still be around to check in on things here, but I wanted to sneak another update in to thank you all before I am whisked away on my own adventure for the next few days.
We’re only 11 pre orders away from chapters 4 and 5 being added to the page! Grab a friend! Get them to join the crew and come aboard!
Okay... That’s enough pirate puns for one update...
Seriously, the last week and a half has been amazing. I’m still reeling from the idea that my dreams of telling Thoster’s story may become a reality. Thank you again! I adore you all, truly.

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Exciting news this morning- Storm Song is currently in the top 3 of Geek & Sundry’s fantasy contest! I’m currently tied with the 2nd place spot.
Thank you to all of you that have pre ordered to show your support! And anyone that has shared the link to my entry with friends and family- you’re all rockstars. You guys are the reason this is even possible.
What we need to do now is keep generating momentum! This competition has proven itself to be a really close race, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. We’ve got quite some time before October 31st arrives, so if you know anyone that might be interested, please send them the link to Storm Song!
As always, if you have any questions for me, I’m happy to discuss the book or anything related to the contest. Thanks again!

Good evening, everyone! I’ve got a couple quick updates and a request for you tonight.
Update the First: We just hit 50 pre orders! I’m floored! Blown away! Dumbfounded, really! In less than a week, you have all shown me so much love and support. I really can’t thank you enough.
Update the Second: Some of you already know I was at GenCon this weekend- a gaming convention with a crowd who would be right in my target audience. I struck up a couple conversations with folks who I thought might be interested in the book. One of them? Just happens to be a graphic designer! What this means is that I’m going to be in contact with him over the next few days to discuss the possibility of having an actual cover image created for Storm Song! Get excited! I sure am!
A Humble Request: 50 pre orders is huge, guys- but I’ve got a long way to go to catch up to the folks in the lead of this thing. But if each of you who have pre ordered can reach out to one person that you think would be interested in supporting my endeavors here, we can double that number in record time.
As incentive, once we hit 100 pre orders, I’ll update this page with two more chapters. Curious to see more of Thoster’s adventure unfold? Well, it’s all in your hands how quick you can get it!
For those of you that are following, but haven’t pre ordered? I’m asking that you take another look and consider it. Reach out to me if you have any questions! I’m always happy to ramble about my story with anyone who will let me! My email is asgriner6587@gmail.com - open for any discussions pertaining to the book and this project!
Thanks again for your support, everyone! I adore you all!

I wanted to take a second to just thank everyone who has pre ordered so far. It’s been roughly 24 hours since I submitted this draft for the Geek & Sundry contest, and I’m just floored by the support I’ve seen from so many avenues. You’re all amazing, and it means the world to me that you’re behind me on this project. There’s still a lot of time left in this contest. Honestly, it’s barely begun! But I’m hoping to use this great start to build up some fantastic momentum.
Thank you all again. So, so much.

Good morning, sailors!
Exciting news this morning: We’ve officially hit 100 unique pre orders! Triple digits in a different way!
I’m constantly amazed and grateful for each of you that have shown such an outpouring of support for this project. Knowing I have 100 people standing firmly behind me, cheering me on? It’s an overwhelming feeling-- in a good way!
There’s still a long way to go before the contest ends, but this is such an amazing start to this journey! Please continue to reccommend the project itself or your favorite chapters. Doing so bumps Storm Song’s name back on the "buzzing" section of Inkshares, so someone new may swing by and take a look when they otherwise had no idea Thoster’s story existed. Share the link, tell a friend, get the word out however you can!
Also! Since the links here aren’t very conducive to verbally passing them along, you can also get to the project by going to: bit.ly/stormsong
I’ll check in with you all soon!
Thanks again!
