Salutations to the both of you. Just writing this to inform you guys about what, exactly, is goin’ on.
This book is in second draft phase. I have a full rough draft written out in a Moleskine and am now typing and adding/polishing.
The excerpt I have uploaded is the first couple toes into the massive pool of writing I have just started to dive into (wait wasn’t I just dipping toes?). It’s pretty rough still, but I learn more about how I want to write and the tone of my characters the more I type and will go over my second draft before calling it "done". This first book will be but a snippet as far as the "Origin" universe goes with many story ideas and character concepts to introduce in future books. Let me see if you guys can figure everything out. Dark Souls is my favorite game series and the narrative style is not one to hold the player’s hand and walk them through everything. Google stuff, open your mind, expand your horizons, explore why a character did a certain thing or thinks a certain way, because I have most likely examined it and thought of a reason.
I come from a culinary background so I have an eye for detail and a certain expectation for what the end product should be like having read countless books since a young age.
If you have any questions, we live in an age where almost the entire world is connected, so just shoot me a message. I will do my best to steer you in the right direction without spoiling anything.
If I spend this much effort just to communicate something to only 2 followers, just extrapolate what will come next.
Thank you,
Mike
Greetings. So that all (0) of you are made aware, a hand-written first draft of the book has been completed. The typing/second draft stage has begun and at the time of posting this I am currently on Chapter 7 (out of...?). Each chapter gets more involved as the plot progresses with some breaks in-between with single chapter stories involving the world of Origin. Uhh... so yeah, again there’s 0 people being updated, so I am just talking to myself. Go to bed, man.
Also, I changed some stuff in the Draft Excerpt, should make it more readable. I overlooked proofreading the uploaded text.
