This is supplemental material to my novel, and it is not required for understanding of the story. It is intended as a way to connect with the main character, his environment, and a few of the other characters while I finish the novel itself. Otherwise, I just wanted to say...WHAT A CONTEST! This is a tight race, and there are a ton of great stories out there! I wish everyone the best! I had no idea this site even existed prior to having this competition recommended to me, and I must say this place is awesome! I hope everyone is having a good time on here enjoying all of the undiscovered authors and dreamers with which you can interact and fall in love.

What an amazing response from everyone thus far! I greatly appreciate it. The entire story is mapped out, characters are falling in line, themes are in place...now I just have to make it all as enjoyable in type as it is in my head...

It is decided! I wish to thank the first 50 people who pre-order a copy of The Madness of Mr. Butler with a name of their own choosing within the text of the book. It can be your name or the name of a favorite pet, city you grew up in, high school sweetheart, anything that is significant to you...but within reason! If you submit to me some sort of ridiculous, useless name, then I can still veto and you can choose your next favorite. I’m not necessarily talking about characters, either. I’m naming cities, ships, worlds, vehicles, pets, animals, aliens, foods, etc...and I can name all of these things myself, but I thought it might be a bit more personal to you, my wonderful, lovely, beautiful first investors in this novel, to be able to read a name within the book after you receive your purchase and know that you had a direct influence there. SO...spread the word! I want to have an interactive experience with all of you amazing people who believe in my talents enough to put your hard-earned cash forward. I am sending the first 12 from today a personal email with this message and you can respond with your preference of name whenever you see fit.

This contest works like kickstarter, and the pledges to pre-order drive and determine who ends up in the top 3! So, please consider pre-ordering if you haven’t already (you won’t be charged and it won’t be released unless I get a minimum of 250 pre-orders), and even if you don’t pre-order, please, please spread the word! I’m always here if you have any questions/suggestions, and I’m coming up with my own little motivating factors for pre-ordering...if you have ideas for what would motivate you, let me know.
