Hi Everyone,

In the last episode of "And The Wolf Shall Dwell"  we had just hit the 250 mark ("Quill") which promises the book will get published. We had then celebrated at "Disney on Ice" and reached 276 orders today. Since then I’ve been busting my head to think of creative ways of getting new readers, which will march us close to the 750 mark.

Thanks to Maya, we now have a Facebook page ! I’ve been asked to implore you all to help us out by visiting it and hitting Like. Also, if you have an aunt, a cousin, a neighbor or other friends you don’t mind bugging - please Invite them to the page. Wouldn’t you love the Wolf to hit the NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLERS, when you already have your own signed copy and bragging rights of discovering me??

remember it’s not the old fashioned Like we need, i.e.:

It’s in fact this little bugger we’re after:

Well not quite... But admitedly  it’s more fun with beer... Do visit us - here’s the link again

That’s a great time to remind that if you order a "spymaster" your name would be in the Patron List page inisde the book !! now, that’s def worth considering...

Regarding the novel itself: i am still in editing mode whenever I am not selling it to you. if anyone would like to be a beta reader and to review on Amazon/Goodreads when the day comes (still plenty of time) - please reach out.

Have a glorious week ahead!

This is an exciting read.  The few chapters I read leave you wanting more.  The author draws you in and doesn’t let you go.  I just ordered the hard copy as I have to know how this ends.  I also love the interaction between the different agents and police.  It can be a bit on the funny side what they think about each other.  Congrats Joni, you have a winner with this book.

Congratulations, Joni! Well deserved! I am very happy for you! :D

Ferd.

Pop (champagne)! Hurrah! Cheers!

whooping 252 orders means that "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" will see the light of day!

I want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you that have ordered. This was an intense month+ and you guys made it happen, on to phase two, which means trying to get this book to a staggering 750 orders (!) which will get the big Inkshares oiled machine behind us promoting and pushing. doable? not sure, but i will give it everything i got.

On with the update:
(1)
#250 is Yan Liu (congrats!). She will have a character named after her that will have at least one line. #251 coming milliseconds after her is Roger Potter. Since i am an affable guy -some people now would smirk (or shout) -  Roger too will have a minor character named after him. and before you condemn me as a wise-guy, even though the novel takes place mostly in London, and Roger is a fairly common English name, there was no Roger thus far. There will be now (congrats!).

(2)
Now that the book is a fact. I urge you (if you can afford it) to order again a "Spymaster" which is 3 REAL BOOKS. This will automatically get you in the Patron List inside the book for all of eternity .
Btw - all pre-ordered physical books come signed, and whoever meets me later on with his copy (or send it to me), will get a personalized message next to the signature, so stop asking me to do it, i humbly would do all 750 copies if it gets me there ;-)

(3)
Huge thanks to Vicki Goodwin who featured "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" & Inkshares in her blog this week: https://vickgoodwin.wordpress.com/2016/04/14/new-book-publishing-concept-have-you-heard-of-inkshares/ - check out her blog, it’s fab.

(4)
There are a few books worth mentioning that are on the verge of Quill (250 orders). If you liked Inkshares, the concept & you like thrillers. Please consider ordering Louisiana Blood by Mike Donald. An excellent thriller, trust me I’ve read some of it.

That’s it for now.. very excited here and again huge thanks to all... to celebrate I have two baths to run and diapers to change (LOL just kidding) ..
keep sending it to people you know - let’s shoot for 750 with your amazing help. You guys rock!

x
- Joni/Jonathan/Yoni/Jon anyway you want it tonight is fine by me.

Hi all!

There are a few things i would like to talk with you about in the weekend update...

But ! First thing first. This is now your chance to be the lucky guy/gal who will shoot the book to being published, as we are currently standing  (Saturday 6:39 London time) on 249 orders!

*** In fact to get you guys ordering - lucky 250 will have his name featured in the novel as a minor character! so i will have to tweak things around (as i said it is already well written). ***

I will come back to update as soon as this happens!

x

Jonathan

Hi all,

A very exciting week had passed so I had to send an update before the weekend was upon us.

First - "And The Wolf Shall Dwell" broke the 200 preorders!! As I promised - I have uploaded CHAPTER 4 . This is a crucial chapter that helps understanding the plot line. so if you rather wait for the whole book, it’s your call.
I want to take this opportunity and thank whoever ordered so far and whoever is planning to order soon!

2nd- A special thanks to Maayan Menashe who managed to get the novel to feature on Israeli HAARETZ’s BookShelf. Amazing achievement as this is the first time they included a novel that is not yet published.

3rd - Among the published authors who have already ordered the book I can now count the talented Kacie  Davies Idol, whose book "the Tulip Factory" is soon out . check it out! A personal special thanks to Kacie who took the time to help by guiding me through the different pre-order marketing technics, out of her own experience (with 1,114 orders, she must have done something right!).

4th and last - We will feature in the next meeting of "Books Cat Coffee" blog writer’s book-club. they don’t normally do unfinished books, but decided to give me a chance, to which I’m grateful. check out her blog in the link above.

Guys, let’s break Quill (250 orders) please help me by forwarding the book page to any prospect. BTW - If you weren’t aware - whoever orders 3 real books ("Spymaster") gets his name in the end of the book as a patron. Pamper your loved one by placing them in a twisty spy thriller.

Many thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Wolf followers!

Closing two weeks with no updates (my laptop found a good time to get broken!) & a month of campaigning!! A lot of exciting things have happened since you last heard from me:

First, we have reached 174 preorders (which is 70% from being published and 23% from a full Inkshares contract)

Second, we had orders from Inkshares’ thriller queen Kris Calvin & newly Quill author, the inspiring Caroline Reber - please check out their books by clicking on their names.

Finally, Chapter 4 has been edited by me roughly 700 times, and is now all set to be released to the public (I initially thought that it reveals too much of the plot-line so skipped straight to 5, but I soften a bit since... age does its thing i guess). It will be released when we hit the milestone of 200 pre-orders. I do need a couple of volunteers to proofread... email me at ydital@gmail.com if you are interested.

Also - may i please ask that each of you with spare 5 minutes, instead of going to Ynet, Twitter/Face Book or shopping on Next (UK parents will relate) - will find ONE person to preorder my book? just one person. In return, I would personally buy you and this person coffee and will engage in a 40 minutes conversation with you/him/her about any subject of your choice* (is this a prize or punishment you ponder...)

Thanks (US) / Toda (ILS) / Cheers (UK)

Morning!

Apologies in advance for the midweek spam.
An interview with yours truly is now online on Mercedes Fox’s Blog at https://mercedesfoxbooks.com/meet-author-jonathan-dital/
I told them I am not yet an author "per se" but they didn’t seem to mind...
enjoy!

Hi everybody,

We are closing the 3rd week of the preorders campaign, thought i’ll let you know where we stand.

Statistics: we’ve hit 115 orders, which is 46% of publishing (250 orders) or 15% for a full contract (750 orders).

Updates: A special thanks to Micha Knopf for proof reading chapter 10. Though the chapters uploaded are raw and pre-edit, i have uploaded it again, bettered. would be cool if you check it out.

Arts and Crafts: Here’s the book’s new temporary cover (some of you have noticed the change). Trying to include it here in low definition, pardon me if you don’t see anything.

Teasers: as I promised last week, there’s already a live PDF containing uploaded chapters, if you care to read them on kindle or Ipad, please do! this has also been shares by THE KINDLE ENGLISH MYSTERY BOOK CLUB on Their Facebook, thanks to David Gooch.

As promised there will be another two chapters available before the campaign is over - trying to decide on the first one, to be shared soon...

I had great feedback from lots of people, to whom I am grateful. PLEASE KEEP SHARING the book and let’s get this done! imagine the strong living-room conversation you can make by starting a sentence "my friend is the published author of..."

THANKS to EVERYONE (especially those who ordered and those who ordered in the future). Yours, Jonathan
