ONE GOAL DOWN!! THANK YOU

So we JUST hit the quill goal which means the book will be published it will get an ISBN and it will be real honest book!

You all are the best. I’m so excited to get this story into people’s hands and I can’t thank you enough.

ONWARD to the full goal!

So we’re a third of the way to the full publishing goal. If we get 750 pre-orders we not only get published but get a full edit and polish, professional type people sweating over the cover art and armies of marketing people planning spectacular things including author events, bookstore placement and more!

So if you can, please spread the word. In fact, mathematically speaking, if each of you convince two other people to preorder, we would be guaranteed to get the full publishing goal. It’s science!

In celebration of hitting this first goal I’m adding a new sample chapter for you to take a look at. I hope you enjoy!

We just hit the 75% mark for the Quill Goal which means we’re about 25% of the way to the full publishing goal. Thank you so much for believing in this little book.

THANK YOU so much for supporting Pilot X. We are halfway to the first milestone, the "Quill" goal that gets it published! I can’t believe it’s only been a week.

To celebrate the halfway mark, I’ve added a second sample chapter. This is the opening chapter of the book. It’s called Prologue 1 because the first few chapters set you up to tell X’s story, although they take place at the end of his adventures. It’s all part of the time travel fun!

Anyway hope you enjoy it and let me know if you’re curious about other parts of the book! The first thing in the manuscript right now is a section on the three major races of the universe ripped from the Encyclopedia Alendia. Man the librarian was mad at me about that.

Hey John, thanks for the question. I have a task set for every day called write/edit. Where I either spend time writing or polishing up a manuscript. Most days I’m polishing. I use NaNoWriMo to do most of my fresh writing. Though I will post story explorations throughout the year on my secret Subbrilliant blog. So it’s not nearly as regimented as DTNS. But I try to make sure I do something every day.

Tom, do you have a set time that you write? You’re DTNS process is pretty nailed down, do you have the same level of process for fiction writing?

Hey everyone, THANK YOU for taking a flyer on this little notion of mine to take on time travel. Idiotic? For me to try, possibly. Heartwarming? For you to pre-order, absolutely.

So ask me whatever you want and I’ll answer to the best of my ability. I’m also considering what additional chapter to post up as a preview, so happy to entertain thoughts on that as well.
