Greetings readers and followers!  We've cleared the 40 readers threshold and are approaching 100 copies ordered steadily.  That's the big number.  I'm working my friends to register and get followed to earn the $10 credits and order the book.  It's a slow process but effective.  As promised, I'll be adding the next two chapters to the PDF for you, however it will have to wait until tomorrow.  Why you ask?  Because my wife and daughter fly in today and I haven't seen them in five weeks.  I think you can forgive me a slight delay in sending you your reading material.

In other news, I've prepped a message to send to Logwyn and there is space for some questions.  If you have them, PM me on Twitter @nidfar and I'll add it to the message.

It’s been a few days and a lot has happened. Namely, we’ve sold a lot of pre-orders! We’re still ahead of the pace needed to get the copies sold by November 15. My thanks to all of you that have jumped on board and ordered a copy. For those following Rise but that are still sitting on the fence, thanks for your interest. I know there are a lot of reasons you might not have committed yet and all of them are perfectly valid. For other authors following, as someone else stated in their update: I’ve got credits to share and I can tell you I’ve got my eye on several more projects. Those that have taken the jump to support me have definitely gotten more attention. In the coming days, I’ve got a few more I’ll be throwing my support behind. Yours might be on that list.

As promised, a message from Logwyn was transmitted. The audio was a bit rough but I managed to clean it up considerably. I took the liberty of adding some images to the cut so you can see another artist’s interpretation of things he’s read in Rise. I’ll be sending Logwyn more requests for messages. Well, we made it to 20 readers! So, I've got an update for you. At the bottom of this post you'll find a link. That will take you to a PDF which contains the first four chapters of Rise. Consider that a thanks for getting us to 20 readers.

So, when will the next few chapters be released? Frankly, I'd love to just let you read the entire novel. I did mention it was done, yes? Act three is in for final edits with the editor, then it's ready to go.  When this project funds, there won't be much wait time on my end. I'll release some more chapters to you here soon. Maybe when we get to 40 unique readers:-)

First, my gratitude for your support so far. It humbles me to see so many of you are eager to get a copy of Rise to read, and even more so that some of you are giving it as a gift to your family and friends. I've worked a long time on it and I hope it lives up to your expectations. Now, on to the update. We're 2% to the goal! It's not much but it's double what we had yesterday. We've been in the top 10 on the Nerdist Collection most of the past two days as well, but more work is needed. So, I've decided to offer an incentive. 

As many of you know, Rise is done. All the way. It's been edited and is ready to go. So that means I have a lot of content to share with you. And the next two chapters will be unlocked when we get to 20 unique readers! So, make sure you tell your friends and family to pre-order their copy. And you even have a chance to earn credits to spend on Inkshares for more books. I highly recommend you check out the other Nerdist projects, especially JF Dubeau's (winner of the last Inkshares contest) A God in the Shed, Elan Samuel's One, and CJ Boat's Chronicles of Athalor: Heart of Deimos..
