It has been a long, hard quarantine. I’ve read practically every book on my shelf... memoirs, historical fiction, informational. I typically do not reach for sci-fi, but I was looking for an escape from Covid’s harsh reality. I found it in Tears of Venus. The heroine, Samatha, has courage, confidence, and a sense of humor, things that we can all use at this moment in time. If you are looking to lose yourself in a fun book, start reading. I promise you... you won’t stop.
Ever since I was a young girl, I loved diving into the world of sci-fi novels. Samantha’s story has me hooked and I can’t wait to read more. I will definitely be coming back to learn more about her new identity as a Genii and the challenges that await her with the Bottom Dwellers. A captivating read and I recommend this to people of all ages!
