Thank you to all of those who have shown their support so far.
I have now updated Zed with the first 4 chapters of the novel, which gives you the perspectives of 4 of the main characters present at the car crash(es) in front of the Groves Hotel as they flee inside for sanctuary. They are:
Felicia; the not-so-stereotypcial goth girl who has encountered this kind of craziness before.
Julia; the police officer who is surprisingly quick to exact her own kind of lethal justice.
James; the supposed NSA agent who probably has more secrets than the rest of the characters combined.
And Belinda; the hospital lab tech who is more intimately aware of what is causing the insanity in people than she would care to admit.
The book itself is already complete with final polishing needed to make it shine. The word count is correct that this is, so far, a 488 page novel; which is a lot for a piece of zombie fiction. I like to think that I've filled the Groves Hotel with an interesting cast of characters who keep you entertained until the end of the day; and then we'll see what tomorrow brings.
