Greetings readers,

Allow me to introduce my creative addtion to the genre of fantasy, Wizards in the Streets.

This story originated from the many jotted ideas that was to be part of my few writing attempts during the NaWriMo challenge of years past, but for whatever reason never got past the idea stage.

But now with the new Geek and Sundry fantasy writing contest, I decided to toss my hat and my creative skills into the ring.

So what can you expect from Wizards in the Streets?

You can expect a modern world where myth and the supernatural are real, but not as you quite expect from the typical fairy tales or tropes.

And how one person, Max, learns how use his barely trained mystical gifts with a bit of luck, the occasional supernatural ally, and MacGyver inspired ingenuity in surviving that world while trying to meet the rent.

So take a peek. Let me know what you think as this world’s supernatural and atypical lore is still being created.

I would welcome your comments, criticism and suggestions on how far I can toss the tropes of urban fantasy while still being entertaining and engaging.
