Who is Santa?

Who is Santa Clause?    I’m not sure, but I would like to know.   Wouldn’t you?

 Some kids say they don’t believe in Santa Clause.  I think that’s pretty sad.  

I’ll tell you a secret, but you’ve got to keep it to yourself.  

Can you keep a secret?

Alright, I’ll tell you.

Santa Clause is not like in the movie.  

How do I know?  

He’s different in every movie!

Here’s what I think.  

I think Santa can’t be mass produced.  Do you know what mass produced means?  Go ask a grown up.  

If you think about it, the Santa we see and hear about in cards and on shows and even in our books is usually a pretty unlikely guy.  

Does that mean Santa Clause is fake?  

Lots of people think you don’t pick your nose.  If you do, does that mean you’re fake?  

I don’t think so.

The same goes for Santa.  

People say a lot of things about him that probably aren’t true.  

Does that mean he’s not real?

I don’t think so.  

I think Santa Clause is real, and I’m a grown up and I’m smart.  

So, what is Santa like?

I’m not sure.  What do you think?  What makes sense?
