Seventeen-year-old Robb is the king of Zeruko. He, and his twin sister Myra, ascended the throne after their father’s passing. According to many, King Daemonarch-nemesis and ruler of Tentazoamurdered the late king. But despite the claims, Robb believes his father is still alive.

With a desire to bring his father home, Robb leaves Zeruko with his trusted friend Spion. The pair travel to the realms of the universe through the magic of raindrops. From the hazardous trip behind enemy lines to the festive East Asian-esque Meihua; from the kingdom hovering above the clouds to the heterogeneous society of a tunneled realm, every step in his journey uncovers a gem of his past, present, and future. And in one foresight, Robb learns the daunting fate of Zeruko.

Hi there, Jeyna here! Yes, I’ve been here before—this being my third ’official’ title on Inkshares. But even though I’m not new, I believe many of you are. So hello!

A little about me—while authoring under this nom de plume, I’m a content coach and strategist for businesses tackling the age of social media. Prior to my move into marketing, I spent over four years in a publishing house as both a writer and editor for children magazines, books, and pre-school materials, engaging with brands such as Disney and Mattel on licensed projects in Malaysia and Singapore.

2020 has been a year of transition for me—moving into freelancing while putting book writing on hold. But, by joining the All-Genre Manuscript Contest, I hope to get back into the groove of completing my book series soon.

Whispers of the Wind is Book 1 of my young adult fantasy series, Raindrops. This book and its series is based on the message of hope, faith, and love. Those core values are then built on the premise of magical raindrops encapsulating the many realms of the universe—a foundation that drives the plot of realm travel, adventure, and war.

Last year, I completed Book 2 of this series! And fingers-crossed, Book 3 will be drafted by the end of 2021. So if magic, realm travel, and youthful adventure is your jam, do give this book (and it’s entirety) a read!

I hope you enjoy it!
