Synopsis...

Aphrodite does not know she cannot die until she is murdered and wakes up in her own tomb. From the time she washed up on the shores of Paphos with no memory, she had spent what life she knew among mortals as the queen’s confidant and her daughter’s primary caregiver, beloved by everyone around her. Her life was typical and ordinary until an accident leads to the discovery of Aphrodite’s golden ichor, in the presence of the King of the Gods. To protect his family and his secret, Zeus whisks her away from the only place she has ever called home. When she doesn’t die from the fatal blow delivered by Zeus himself, she is forced remain on Olympus. Zeus’s insurmountable hatred of Aphrodite is brutally unleashed upon everyone she holds dear, both to punish her and protect the secret that has kept him on his throne. Now worshiped as the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite must race to save those she loves, both mortal and immortal, from the God bent on violently destroying them. With each step along her journey, she finds out that the price of love is costly, and she realizes that where Love is, War is almost certain to follow...

About Me...

I developed an unhealthy love for mythology, all types, but mostly Greek, somewhere around the fifth grade. I even turned a simple research paper into an in depth analysis of the story of Hades and Persephone...earning me the title of ’Geek’ (among many others) - but that one is the one I wear most proudly. I love all things nerdy, geeky, and identify with far more fandoms than I have space to list.

I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil, which sounds obvious, but a little sliver a graphite was all it took for me to seemingly come alive. Stories dance in my head constantly, and I still to this day rarely leave home without a notebook in case I have an idea.

Though, honestly, all my ideas seem to have root in mythology. As does this one, WHERE THERE IS LOVE, which begins the tale of the second-generation Greek deities, and their intertwining lives as they must choose sides when an innocent maiden is kidnapped and brought to Olympus with the ability to unravel the secrets hidden atop Mount Olympus.

This story came to me in a dream, as so many do, and it is a dream to be able to share it with you today.

(Oh, and I must give credit where credit is due! The picture I’ve uploaded was borrowed from http://www.thinkcyprus.org/. It’s a beautiful picture that inspired some of Aphrodite’s story.)
