It begins with a friendship that is not easily broken. It begins
with a girl who dreams of a better life. It begins with a leader
unwilling to give up his power. But, above of all, it begins with a
rigged election.

In a country being torn apart by violent protesters, four famed soldiers are caught in the middle of a political power struggle. The battle is between the nation’s current ruler, the Supreme (known as the Tiger), and a mysterious opposition candidate, Sili-Muon. Both sides seek to use the notoriety of the country’s war heroes to their advantage. So now four old friends suddenly find themselves burdened by the hopes and troubles of a nation.

These men are known as the Fisted Hand. Each man lacks his pinky
finger on his right hand because fifteen years ago, when their friend Alan-Dahlli was killed in an ill-advised rescue attempt, the four soldiers buried their fingers along with their friend. This story, on top of their reputation as formidable fighters, made the Fisted Hand a living legend. Whether they like it or not.

Pressured by the threat of arrest by the Tiger’s Guards, Tmo-Ruck, Meneke, Mynero, and Eelad reluctantly agree to join Sili-Muon’s cause and support the people’s revolt. Soon the four friends decide to split up: two journey to the countryside to bury a murdered General while two stay in the city to help Sili-Muon’s campaign. Little do they realize that helping Sili-Muon involves kidnapping the Supreme’s son. However, in this dangerous, ever-changing world nothing is as it seems. As an assassin named Berma infiltrates Sili-Muon’s headquarters, as a spirited girl named Mali becomes anxious to do more to help the campaign, as the tyrannical Supreme orders his guards to arrest anyone caught out on the street, the four soldiers just want to
do what is right.
